its fun to pretend you have an accent, especially if you can fake it good and people think you actualy have an accent.

Hmmm... I don't think I have an accent... although I guess it would be a "Canadian accent", whatever that is. I DON'T say "aboot", contrary to popular belief.
"What are you gonna do, throw your pet beaver at me?" "ATTACK!"
Heh.

It IS "about". People always acuse Canadians of saying "aboot", though.

When I was growing up, people used to say I sounded like a New Yorker, even though I'm a Tennessean (East TN, with the lovely mountains) by birth...I use better grammar than I really should when talking, although I do say "y'all" and other Tennessee-ish phrases. It's funny.

Mounties: RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) There are more regulare police that Mounties, though.
I am Canadian. I don't have an accent. Neither does Charlotte, because she sent me her voice. I do not have a pet beaver. I do not say "aboot". I don't even say "eh?". Neggie- you're Canadian? where do you live?
I can fake quite a few accents. It's quite fun. Sometines I say words with accents, for random reasons.
