Nowhere in the article did it say he didn't like HP, he said he didn't like reading it out loud, and he is disappointed that he wasn't cast as a narrator in the movie (so am I).
Other people are saying that ASOUE doesn't have much of a mystery, and HP does so you'd want to read it more.
Yeah, right. It's easy for me to put down an HP book. I've read it, I know what's going to happen. ASOUE, on the other hand, I can read the whole series in the day. Maybe it's because they are smaller. Some people say "they're simplistic and childish" *cough*. But it's more of a hands-on mystery than HP.

That guys is just plain stupid from what I can see.

Some users at mugglenet might be illiterate, im suprised that they can even read the hp books, (ahem, harrys#1girl) but I do dig that website. Its the best hp website out there. And this is the best asoue site out there!!! Hurrah! ;D ;D ;D

Ewan is awesome. I love the guy. Not just for looks, but for his acting. He would've made an awesome Lemony/narrator. But Jude Law (who is playing the narrator) is one of his best friends, so it's cool. Also, with the HP/Snicket books. They are nothing alike except they are popular kids books.

Some people are just way to defensive about what they like. I wouldn't mind it so much if they would give the other books a try before judging them, but to just be like, "Oh, HP is better, so why bother with others," that's just stupid.
Ewan is cute, and I really like his voice (in Moulin Rouge). Viggo is OK, I like him as Aragorn, but he looks weird to me without his wig. Orlando is pretty cute, though a bit overrated. Elijah is OK. The ones I like are Billy Boyd, Dom Monaghan , and David Wenham (Faramir).
