This may sound odd, but... it annoys me sometimes how there is now swearing anywhere in the series, except for twice in book 2. Eh, I'm not a big swear word fan, but sometimes it would just be realistic for them to swear.

Snicket wouldn't do that because books about kids going through puberty are CRAP.

Good point, Internet Sushi. Books about puberty and its changes are a bit cliched, and Lemony Snicket has an aversion to cliched children's lit. I didn't like Harry Potter 5 because Harry had those tempestous mood swings at very illogical moments. Violet never gets irrationally angry.
Um, welcome to 667. I'd take that post more seriously if you spelled better, no offense. But you're still a tad perverted.

Him, defining words we already know. I like when he explains what explains the words we would NOT normally know, but I mean like even a child would know what some of the words Lemony explains means.

Well, most of them are meant to be funny, with wrong or skewed definitions. However, the realistic, obvious definitions of small or well-known words does get a bit tedious. He's kinda stopped doing it as much as he used to, though.

Gah! I never said his entire style was annoying I said certain parts of it were annoying. How many times must I tell people this?

Possibly many. I bet some of the V/Q fans and V/D fans trying to find proof don't like Lemony's "private" bit. It drove my brother mad when he read that bit...that's what he doesn't like. Mah.
