Not so much of a coincidence as a weird ASOUE-related incident, but there was a boy in my class who was a big ASOUE fan, we had discussed the series before, and on World Book Day—basically a school-wide literary festival and cosplay event— he made a half-hearted attempt to dress as Count Olaf and ended up looking more like Klaus. I dressed as Carmelita, and he jokingly called me a cakesniffer. Then, lockdown happened. The next time I saw him, he told me he had never had any interest in ASOUE, and was lying to impress me. I didn’t believe him because he seemed to know a lot about the series. I called him a cakesniffer back in an attempt to jog his memory, but he had seemingly forgotten what the word meant. None of this was ever explained.

No Roxy ... He probably liked you and wanted to impress you at the time. But now he's changed interest or is trying to affect you to make you think about him. (I don't know if I should teach you these strategies ...)

Some work I’m doing for school mentions preventing a disastrous fire in a hotel. The school itself which gave me this work has green as its main colour, just like VFD.

A wooden house in the fanciest and more expensive area of my city ended up reduced to ashes. The fire's origin is uknown so far. I know that houses burn to the ground on a daily basis but this picture particularly made me think of ASOUE.
