Aww. The Gloom Looms is rather like, everything is over, yet there are still things that can't be revived once more. I like the-I think FFWF said this in a thread that Antenora said it- the Tables Turn, I liked it better than The gloom...
Gloom - loneliness (you get the idea) Looms - hovers (?) or lingers
I also like the DD, but if the SW is not too closed up, I would have liked it, because of that eyepiece. TTB, Olaf looks like The littlest elf.

I don't like the gloom looms, but since you included crisis concludes in that option I'm going with THAT.

I don't like the gloom looms, but since you included crisis concludes in that option I'm going with THAT. Yeah. Crisis Concludes is also cool. Though the crisis of the Orphans weren't really over yet: the tables are just starting to turn. Oh well, it's just a humble opinion of mine.

Yes, but the crisis concludes includes/included 10-13, which is when it does indeed conclude. We hope. I can't imagine Lemony putting them through even more misery after book the 13th.

I think DD has the best ring to it.
and I think the Crisis Concludes is a more appropriate title than the Gloom Looms, as well.

I'm just drawn to crisis concludes. Dilemma Deepens and Situation Worsens have their merits though.

The gloom looms? Meh. Most people just like crisis concludes, it sounds more alluring than gloom looms.

I like the Crisis Concludes because it reminds me of the ending of a heart-pounding loud and fast song instantly coming to a dramatic stop.

Really now? What song is that?

I don't know. Like Finale by Beethoven from symphony number 5 but really it's just a random song. Or rather a tidbit from the very ending.

Oh I see. So the gloom looms does come out 4 days after book 12? I'm beginning to favor the likelihood that 13 isn't at all in a box set.

Maybe they're trying to teach us something. Possibly by Book 13 being left alone again they're trying to show us just how lonely the Baudelaires are. I mean they've been a trio (a group of three) for somewhat of a long time. They've had a few close friends but always find some way to excuse themselves.

Mmm, you're using the groupings of the books as symbolism? interesting....

Now that I've read that again, it actually sounds rather clever. I'm tempted to be cynical, though, and say that the box sets are in groups of three because it's practical (and in England, they come in sets of four).
