He should definitely have a book explaining the full story of VFD, and another book about his research.

I wouldn't. If even Lemony says it's boring, then it's BORING. I would like to see SOME (NOT over specific) explanation behind his research. Especially during tss when there were no witnesses of the journeys that we know of except the people involved. He must've interviewed at least one person from the car, and Violet/Klaus.

I'd like to see a book by Handler in which he explains what inspired various parts of the series. For instance, he could tell us whom his characters were based on, why he chose the allusions he did, and so on.

An atlas with more detailed maps of the locations would be nice, especially of the city and the underground passages, perhaps the annotated city map Lemony has.

And a map of the headquarters, and of the sea where they were in tgg, or Quigley's self made one that included Hotel Denouement, and perhaps Olivia's with the coded stain....

Playing on the idea of maps, I would like to see the one Klaus accidentally left out in the rain. Possibly with everything MnJ just said.

Oh yes, the one carelessly left out on the windowsill would be good as well.

I'd like to see a book with the Snicket, Baudelaire, and Quagmire files.

We don't know of the existence of Baudelaire or Quagmire files. In fact, for some time the Snicket File was referred to as the baudelaire file so I presume the two are one in the same.

I'm not sure if the Snicket and Baudelaire files are exactly the same thing. Certainly, there's information on the Baudelaires in the Snicket file.
If there's a Quagmire file, I'd like to see it, but I don't think any of these files would be published. They'd give away far too much of the mystery.

I'm not sure if the Snicket and Baudelaire files are exactly the same thing. Certainly, there's information on the Baudelaires in the Snicket file. In THH, the file is referred to solely as the Baudelaire file (a fact which I think is far too often overlooked). In TSS, though, it is referred to as the Snicket file. They are probably one and the same, since the Baudelaires got the thirteenth page of what was referred to as the Baudelaire file, and Olaf said in TSS that the Baudelaires had the thirteenth page of the Snicket file (having just been handed the other twelve pages).

Yes, that's why I concluded that they were the same. It went from being called the Baudelaire file to the Snicket File, that's all. There's info on the baudelaires, but it was written by the snickets.

There's info on the baudelaires, but it was written by the snickets. That's a good explanation of the two names; the name of the file could derive from the names of the people it concerns, or the name of its writer. And Dante, thanks for clarifying. For some reason I imagined that the Snicket file contained the Baudelaire file plus more information, or something similar.
