I also draw the VFD insignia on my ankle, usually in pen that takes some time to wear off.
And I refer to my teachers by their initials, not just online but in real life.

hmm... -My school is as well-read as a dung beetle is sanitary. However, the girl I like has more AR points (that's a way to keep track how many books you've read) than most homerooms. -I go crazy when I can't find a good book to read. -I would love to put more, but like Snicket, time is not on my side. Oh, and I can't believe anyone would drink parsley soda.

When people ask why I'm wearing a bandage, instead of saying I fell off my scooter or got a paper cut or something, I say something Snicketish like, "An enemy of mine stabbed me in the leg with a poison-tipped umbrella." Which actually happened, only minus the poison and minus the breaking the skin. All the grown-ups think it's just the cutest thing and not a cry for help. Help with making my life more interesting!

I do the "word which here means" thing when I am angry.

-I use the "a word which here means" phrase in writing class a lot. -In science we were writing water Haikus (yes, I said SCIENCE, my school system is screwy) and this is it
Fresh Water
Flowing over land Running very far down hills Onward to the sea
Zig-zaging down slopes Ever flowing through valleys Never will you cease
Inside a glacier Antarctic ice surrounding Motionless evermore
-In short I put tons of codes in my schoolwork and no one realizes it. <sigh>

Oh, it says "Frozen I Am." You used a VFD-ism. And I just noticed the TSS thing with the Z and E lines (Valley of four drafts, Slippery SLOPE), and the somewhere safe to sea allusion in the O line.
I drew on my fingernails in red pen. I put the insignia on my thumb, VFD on my middle three, and a tiny eye on my pinkie. My other hand had the same insignia, I (Heart) (VFD insignia) on my middle three, and an exclamation point on my pinkie.

I drewthe VFD eye on one of my Converses, and 'With all due respect...' on the other. I previously had, 'Hotel Deouement' and 'VFD' on the other shoe.

(Sunny that is a cute sig.)
I doodled the VFD insignia on one of my plain white shirts and wrote "The World is Quiet Here" on the back of it. My mom had no clue what it meant.

Wow, you guys are obsessed.
EDIT: I draw eyes on my ankles too. But they go away. In the shower. Miracles happen.

Yup. Most of us here are obsessed. Today my grandmother bought me a copy of THH because I didn't have it and gave it to me as a surprise gift this morning. My heart leapt in pure joy when I saw it.

New weird ASOUE habits... hmmm...
1) I study hard at my Grammar and Literature subject to get high grades. I define things that my classmates do not know. 2) I liked burning things, mostly unused paper; 3) I cough (not a habit. just derived from burning things, inhaling smoke and disrupting one's respiratory system. 4) Instead of placing corrected by whenever the teachers ask to check papers, I put the VFD insignia, but more like signature: fast and messy to write. 5) I became fond of vintage and antique-y things. Y'know, black and white photos, old postage stamps, typrewriters, etc. 6) I just realized that the thread is entitled "New weird ASOUE habits". Is this a new thread drawn from an old one, which I cannot post on? Or is this a thread which discusses new weird ASOUE habits prior to the release of the new books. I don't think the VFD insignia is a new thing. So, meh. 7) I bought an encyclopedia about how things work; machines and gears and levers and pulleys and eggbeaters and all that stuff about Violet. 8) I chew gum for hours, unless I woke up with a locked jaw. 9) Bookstores are popular destinations of mine. I also participate in bookfares. I visit the library as often as I can. 10) I loved crows. Too bad they're considered as bad luck here. 11) Hotels are not popular destinations of mine, due to fear of being burned alive by orphans disguised as concierges. (No, I like hotels, it's just that I haven't checked in even once)
I wonder if I'm replying correctly...

Is this a new thread drawn from an old one, which I cannot post on? Aye. Somebody wanted to post more of these, but the last thread on it was ancient, so this new one was started. - I sometimes say "Aye" instead of "yes."
