I really wasn't sure where this goes, and I was looking for the thread about the survivor of the fire, but I couldn't find it. Feel free to move this if you want...
On page 27 of TMM: "...they thought of their parents, their poor parents whom they missed so much and whom they would never see again." (emphasis mine).
So, even if there is a survivor of the Baudelaire fire, and that survivor is one of the Baud parents, the Bauds are never going to see him/her again. Right? Discuss.

The thread is here, and I'd appreciate it if we could take this particular piece of evidence over to that thread and discuss it there, please. If we let this stay on its own, then there's a very real possibility that it could spiral out of control and deal with other survivor issues than this one. I don't like to discuss minor things which could easily be put in another thread, especially when there's no reason for them to be posted separately. I dislike clutter. (That said, I can think of a fairly simple argument against this - but let's keep it in the correct place.)
