Asked whether he liked his new salmon soda, van Stolk said: “I cannot finish a bottle, I just can’t.”
Heh. Thanks for posting this, Rikku. And it's the right section.
Esmé would surely think this an extremely in drink, unless soda or fish have gone out since TEE.

I think buttermilk was the most recent "in" drink we've heard Esme mention, so soda and fish might be out of fashion now.
I vaguely entertained the notion of finding and trying this soda, because I like salmon, but the thought of meat/fish flavored soda is just rather...wrong.

...agreeded how very odd....If I was forced to drink one of the sodas mentioned (turkey, gravy, salmon and green bean)... I would choose gravy I guess, as a meat beverage does sound wrong...and I don't think I could bear to drink beans either.

I'm not such a big fan of salmon so I wouldn't even smell it, I'd prefer the Turkey flavored soda if anything

I've tried some of their sodas before, and it was disgusting. The only normal tasting one I had was the cranberry sauce soda.

I like Jones soda, but SALMON? that's just plain wrong. I hate salmon.

Oh, my goodness! My sister gave me the Jones Holiday Pack as a Christmas gift. I haven't tried them yet - I have to get up the courage!
I love Jones soda, but buy it for the labels. I have several in frames.

Ocean decorations better not be out, or I'll...!
I'll try Salmon or Broccoli casserole if I can buy it, assuming I can walk from the Philippines to wherever it is bought [/sarcasm]. No, really. I will. Especially the Salmon, if it's pinker. I mean it's better that drinking so much sugar (like softdrinks). But considering it's artificial, it can also have negative nutritional effects.
CORN ON THE COB?!?!!? *throws up* Alfred: "Blecchhh!" Maid: Why did you just throw up? Alfred: I sipped corn-on-the-cob soda! "Bllleech-bleeechhs!" Maid: I've had worse, remember when your family & I went to the beach and a bottle was washed up ashore? Turns out it was freshly squeezed sea-anemones!

“When you smell it, it’s got that smoked salmon aroma,”
I swear to god I will never drink that. Not even if it is "in".
