What do you mean by best? Most interesting or most enjoyable to live in? Or something else?

I think the Village of Fowl Devotees was so cool--I could picture it perfectly. But I could also picture Lucky Smells Lumbermill, Uncle Monty's House, and Lake Lachrymose perfectly as well.

Ive changed. I prefere Caligari Carniva. It was interesting how Lemony Snicket could make a nice place like a carnival into a horrible place.

i like it because i would have never thought about the elevator for a hiding spot. GENIUS! GENIUS! Definetly! But Snicket gives things away too easily. Book 2-"It is not Sunny, but Uncle Monty, who will die in this story" or something. Book 3-"The Baudelaire children did not know, as I do now, that Aunt Josephine is not dead. Not yet." Or something like that. Book 6-"this was disconcerting" which he defines for us.
