Gamecube and PS2 are great, but I've always been a Nintendo girl all the way. I like PS2, but I HATE XBox.

Hum. I like the PS2. All the games for the Gamecube are meant to be really cute and it's annoying. I like the Resident Evil games and Deus Ex.
Unfortunatley, Deus Ex is supposed to be crap and it looks crap too, so I don't think I'll buy it.

Yes. *Sniff*
I completed the first on three times. Great game. But I've heard and seen that the game is totally crap, so just not gonna bother.

All the games on gamecube aren't cute. I grew up playing Nintendo, and maybe that's why I still play gamecube most, but there are some excellent games for it. I guess it's a different audience. I'm so obsessed with Skies of Arcadia Legends (yes I know it was originally a Dreamcast game) right now that it's not even funny. After that, I probably play gba, then ps2, then xbox. I appreciate what the xbox is doing, but I still haven't found any games (or any xbox exclusive games, anyway) that have really sucked me in. Although TopSpin is fun. I couldn't begin to make a case for which system is better and which is worse, I'm just saying what I play most.

I own a Super Nintendo, N64, and Playstation 2, and PS2 is definitely the best... All the Nintendo games are made to be too cute, accept Resident Evil...

Nintendo rocks! I have a Super Nintendo, N64, and a Gamecube. I've taught my mom how to play some of the games on the N64 and the Gamecube.
Personally, I don't see how a company that makes computers can make video games. I think Microsoft needs to stick with what they do best.

Every company, and every system, has its merits. I personally don't like XBox very much. It is used largely because of its connectibility and XBox Live, and I don't have that many friends nor am I especially enamored with its choice of games available at this point except for Fuzion Frenzy, which is fun.
I have a bunch of favorites. My favorite system of the next-gen (which is really present-gen now) consoles has to be...well, I'd have to go with Playstation 2. It has a wide variety of games, from the gritty to the delightfully surreal, plus it also plays DVDs better than my actual DVD player. Gamecube is great too, (I love its start-up sequence hahaha 0hg0d I'm such a dork) but I don't have many games for it. I want to play Wario World though.
Of the previous-gen systems, which is N64-Dreamcast-PS, I have to go with PS because that's the only one I ever really played or own.
From the 16-bit era, SNES. Got more games, but Genesis DID have Treasure behind them. Mmmm...Dynamite Headdy. *dr00l*
NES wins the eight-bit era because that's the only one I have XD It also wins the hand-held line of systems since I never had a Wonderswan or Game Gear. GBA is my honeypie.

It doesn't suck per se. It's got a lot of things going for it. I just don't like it, is all. Same way Harry Potter is a good book series (okay, fine, it's great), but I don't like that anymore either. Not to hijack the thread, so here's something to talk about: what remakes do you want to see for the GBA?
