Or beef. Or poultry.
How many of you are vegetarians? How many of you wish you were vegetarians? I do. I don't like eating chicken or cow but I do because it tastes good. I've been eating it since I was little, and I don't eat enough vegetables to make it healthy for me to stop eating meat. I just think its wrong. What do the rest of you think?

Um. I'm a vegetarian. I used to be a vegan, but there's almost nothing left if you don't eat eggs. And since I'm pro-choice, I figured it didn't make much sense for me to not eat unborn chickens. (Uh uh.. that didn't sound right. V_V) I gave up my favourite food in the world, beef, because I think cows are cute. Now, if beef was made of horse, I'd still be a carnivore because horses freak me out big time (actually, I might still be a vegetarian, because it might freak me out to eat a freaky thing.. but, nevermind). It doesn't bother me to see other people eat meat. Or even wave meat in my face (and that happens a lot). I don't know if I'll always be a vegetarian. I might give it up, because I'm not very militant about it. It would be weird though, because it's been a little over a year since I've eaten meat. It's not hard to become a veggie.. it wasn't for me at least (it might be if your like that guy on that commercial.. you know, "the man who will do anything for more meat", or whatever). It definitely wasn't hard to give up chicken, because I never liked it anyway. But I did suffer from hamburger withdrawal in the first month, because veggie burgers are crap. I like tofu okay though, but it gets old (and it's pretty expensive, I guess). I don't like vegetables, but I eat them for the cows.

I'm.... on my way to being vegetarian. I can eat things as long as I can't tell they are animals. I don't really eat red meat (I eat ground beef out of convenience, mostly, but no other red meat... I'm a wimpy wannabe). I'll eat chicken, turkey and fish, though... When I do become vegetarian (which will probably be when I move out, because I hate touching/looking at raw meat and my family won't make huge meal changes for my sake), it won't necessarily be because I think animals are cute and shouldn't be hurt (it sounds like such a cliché), although that is a part of it. It'll be because I just don't like meat. I never liked the taste and the concept of meat is quite gross to me... not sure why. I do like vegetables but I'm not too fond of tofu... I think it would work out. The only thing really getting in the way of my vegetarianism is convenience...

But I can't eat just vitamins. I'm trying to figure out other things I can eat that I'll like before I go through with it. Souffle was exactly is a vegan I've never been quite sure. Is it that you don't eat anything that comes from an animal?
I can't stand Seafood. Or turkey. Thats a meat I can give up justbceuase I don't like it. I'm addicted to chicken burritos from a place called Chipotle.

Well, I guess I’m lucky that way… my mom is very accommodating and makes two meals every night, one for me and one for her and my dad. I have vitamins when I remember to take them (not very often), but I’m still healthy. Or, at least healthy enough to go on. Tofu is good with cheese, but I hate fruit-flavoured tofu. Who eats that? It tastes like fossilized yogurt (not that I'd know what that tastes like.. nevermind).

A person who only eats plants, and is very opposed to leather and fur things. Which I am, but I can't give up the milk or the eggs. I just can't. V_V

I don't like killing animals for clothes. I know they used to do it but that was to surrive, we don't animal fur to surrive anymoe. But sometimes its hard to buy stuff without animal in it.
I've heard tofu isn't good, my parents don't want me to get any because they think I won't like it. doesn't loading veggies with salt and butter defeat the purpose of veggies?
I looooooooooove pasta. but usually I get it with chicken. I wouldn't have to though.

I can lecture you because I do eat my veggies, I eat more than you! I have them covered with salts and oils and sliced into fry and chip forms. at least I'm eating potatoes.
I'm not a cereal person. I could live on chocolate though. Maybe I could eat lots of cookies.

Hey, if your gonna play that way then I am too. It's exactly what you said, loading a veggie with salt. So I'm following your advice Miss 'Swans is always right'.
I live.. near a farm. Alright I admit thats not the same and yeah you probably do. I just load fruit with sugar (strawberries).

. And since I'm pro-choice, I figured it didn't make much sense for me to not eat unborn chickens. (Uh uh.. that didn't sound right. V_V) I thought I remembered seeing some button or whatever on your website that said you were pro-life.. why the change? Anyway, to stay on topic, I eat meat. I love vegetables, especially fried okra, squash, corn, and potatoes. I haven't seen anyone say "KILLING ANIMALS IS WRONG!!!!!!!" yet, so I'm not going to bother to explain my opinions on that ascpect of this matter...

Well depending on how much butter and salt you load them with it can be just as bad as deep frying it.
Ohh I love whipped cream, I need to add that to my fruit, I'd eat it more. I can't stand strawberries unless they are sprinkled with sugar or covered with chocolate. But strawberry flavoring rocks! (yes, yes I know I'm weird)
ETA: I think killing animals can be wrong. Like killing an animal just to show that you killed it is wrong and is wasteful. sometimes killing an animal is needed to surrive. I don't think that makes it right though. Actually yes I do think killing animals is wrong. But we have to do it anyway.

I'd only heard the pro-life side of the story before I joined, and once I'd heard what the pro-choice people had to say, I changed my mind.
I like potatoes.
You can also eat a lot of cereal, I think that is what Allison lives on.
And cereal.

The types of eggs you buy at a grocery store are almost never fertalized (the ones that are have a red spot on the yolk) so they never would have grown into happy little chicklets even if a farmer didn't come along and eat them.
