Is it just me, or should it be Captain Sham, not Captaim SAM?But they're cool. The Wide Window pictures are the best.

It's good to see that we're finally getting to see some more shots from the movie.
They look great!

It's good to see that we're finally getting to see some more shots from the movie. They look great! There's some kind of Lemony Snicket presence at the San Diego Comic Convention (going on now) so we may be seeing even more in the next few days...my friend just e-mailed me and said he picked up a few 8x10 "signed" Count Olaf photos. I use quotes because it sounds like it was a promotional, and the signature is printed, not real (i.e., not Jim Carrey's). I'll see if I can get a scan from him. In the meantime, keep an eye on eBay.

These are lovely pictures. I am not especially optimistic about the movie as a whole, but the sets and costumes are just wonderful. I liked the picture of Josephine.

None of those are working. Either the pictures aren't online anymore or whoever was hosting them ran out of bandwidth.

I wonder if they kept the Anxious clown in the movie. When I read or hear about the movie, I always imagian my Grandma's house. It looks exactly how I imagine. My Grandmas house is small. When you walk in there is a room to your right and to your left there is the kitchen a small bar and in front of the bar is the living room. There is a table in front of it, a small table with a telephone on it, next to the radiator, across the room is a couch and there is a door in the very back that leads down a hall. The only thing that is missing from the house is a library. Close to where I live there is a diner in which everything is like the Anxious Clown even the waiter.

Is it just me, or should it be Captain Sham, not Captaim SAM?Yeah, I noticed that, too. I hope it's a goof, and they didn't just change it, cause they thought it sounded weird. That would really be going TOO far. I mean, bad casting is one thing, but changing names of characters is just mean.

Close to where I live there is a diner in which everything is like the Anxious Clown even the waiter. The waiter wears a clown suit and they try to make you have a good time whether you like it or not? Do tell me more. And listen closely to the waiter for the famous "sad occasion" code phrase.

Look at the picture of Aunt Josephine... At first I thought the paper she was holding said "Homophobes" because she's afraid of everything. I guess it says "Homophones"... What does that mean?

Homophones are words that sound the same but are spelled differently, like "to" "two" and "too", or "main" and "mane". Do you know what homophobes are?
