I noticed a mistake in the series about cake. Sunny asks for it in TBB, yet in TRR Violet clearly says she doesn't like food that's soft like cake. *shrugs*

The cake that Marie Antoinette was talking about was hard bread. Maybe Sunny wanted a biscotti, in keeping with the theme of italian food.

I don't remember anything about cake in TBB, but Orangey is definately right about Sunny not liking soft cake. TRR, page 12. TBB pg 156 "Cake!" Sunny shrieked again, and everyone laughed.
...but it doesn't actually say she wants to eat it...she could just mean, "Let's all celebrate for Olaf will be going to jail!" ^__^
*teehee* but...these posts seem out of place...for i had deleted my post... >__<
after Rikku said "Cake!" i had mentioned that there's strange connections with cake in the series..
TBB ~ Sunny asks for it.. TRR ~ Monty makes it.. TAA ~ Carmalita says it.. TUA ~ the reverse jacket mention ponies + Cake...
MikeT recalled TEE ~ Marie Antoinette says it..(actually she didn't...the quote has just been associated with her for some reason...)

She was associated with saying it to make her seem cruel and heartless to the peasantry after the revolution. They wanted to justify killing (or banishing, I don't remember which) a monarch. Regicide is sort of disapproved of, in the church if nowhere else, so the eviller the french monarchs appeared the more justified they were in getting rid of them. Since you've got the ultra funky memory going on, do you remember all the references to Italian food? The only other I can think of is the lasagna in TAA.

Um...yeah, it was good after all, if you put your mind on it, because at first I though it was weird.

I think TBB was good but they get better when V.F.D comes. I didn't get any clues but my sister told me his plan which spoilt it.
