Sorry if this has already been talked about, but... On this interview, www.lemonysnicket.com/interview.cfm, Lemony says: "I look at the only photograph I have of my beloved Beatrice, and I say to myself: If you do not write these books, her wrongful death will go unpunished." What do the Baudelaires have to do with Beatrice? Could they be...her kids? Her nieces and nephew? The Baudelaires don't even know who Snicket is. Discuss.

... Here, or alternatively, vote here. To be slightly more positive, I don't think that anyone's brought that piece of evidence up for a while, and it probably is pretty central to the series. Locked.
