...but this year, were we going to do something big for Daniel Handler's birthday? We've done nice, cool things for him in the past, and perhaps this year we could make it the ultimate present for him so far. Gigi, would you like to help again with sending him the presents?
A list of possible gifts:
-fanwork -letters -special artwork -or wait! a book of fanwork and artwork for him! Wow, that would be cool.
I can't really think of anything other presents that would be mind-blowing. We will think of something later. But if 667 would like to accomplish Tragedy's Objectives: 9, 10, 11, and 13, we should all pitch in and write pledges/reasons why Mr. Handler could/should go forward with helping us with the Objectives. The letter should be sent with the rest of the presents, right?
Just ideas. (:

I could bind a book (8 1/2 by 11 inches) with a plastic comb binding at my school. Let me know if I can help!

This is just a thought but, what if we used The Blank Book to put all the letters and stuff in? Or would that be too small?
If so, Dear Dairy's idea seems good.

Dear Dairy that does sound like a good idea. Are you willing to let people mail you letters and then you'll bind and mail it?
(I was actually planning simple from myself this year. Just a card and I found out his favorite restaurant, which sells gift certificates online even. I would send my card separately.)

Yes, that's what I had in mind. I could laminate a cover for it, too, if someone with talent (decidedly NOT me) will do the artwork.

Great!
But I think birthday greetings should be separate from pleas to endorse 667 Dark Avenue. But we could go about it in the same way.

So, who's participating in this? Are you all busy getting something together to send to Dear Dairy?

I totally wanna help with this. We should go through and find some of the best 667 fan fictions/artwork to send with it too.
He said in an interview once that he thinks it's cute how kids are obesessed wih the series but finds it creepy when adults are obsessed with TB8 and stuff. So don't sound creepy, whoever writes him stuff.

Can I just write something here? I don't think my mom will let me send it to DD. So DD could write it down.

I'm sure Dear Dairy could print out something that you e-mail or PM to her. It wouldn't have to be snail mail.

We need to get him a pair of bright red shoes with strange buckles, the only problem is it would be difficult to know his shoe size...

What would we name the book?

Maybe "Baleful Birthday Greetings."
Other ideas?

"Facetious Fan-Work", perhaps? I like Gigi's, too.
