It was something to do with the image url of my previous avatar, which I've removed now. No idea why, but I hope it didn't mess up the page load too much.
Edit: Actually I'm still getting the odd malware warnings, from somewhere else now. I think it may be one of the ads at the top of the page.

Suggestion: Okay, so what about Trag starts a new proboards forum that is a record of goings on, and 667 history, for example, A board for ships; one for member profiles; one for photographs of people; one for recording events in 667 history; an archive of old 667er documents etc. I think this might be a good idea, as there is some support for a website in the vein of the editthis page. I think it would be a good way for new members to catch up on recent events without trawling through millions of threads, and also a nice way to preserve the memory of 667 Dark Avenue. This probably sounds really stupid, but I think it's a nice way to kind of keep 667 alive kinda.

It is a good idea, but I think it would make more work than sense. And I think it would be better as a thing which you only read and not like a forum where everyone can write things, because as a forum it would be like a second 667.

I tend to agree with Anka in that while I see your point, a hypothetical second forum creates more problems than it resolves. Part of the appeal of a board is the ability to interact with it, and while the sort of archives you're describing would be useful for reference purposes, I'm not sure it's really in the spirit of what's been created here.

I like the idea cause like when I was away for a while I had no idea what had been happening recently and why me and tryina were the same person or who these K-Avengers were!?!?

I'm not sure it would help with that, really. No one knows who the K-Avengers were, and you and Tryina being the same was just a joke, without any real explanation.
I think I may be missing something about the original proposal, though. Charles, what do you mean by 'preserve the memory of 667 Dark Avenue'?

It is a good idea, but I think it would make more work than sense. Pretty much how I feel about this.

I don't know about the 'preserving' 667 bits, but a simpler method would be to have a specific thread somewhere maintained by one or two people with a weekly/biweekly/whatever post containing the most important or eventful occurrences on 667. I don't know the full range of forum mechanics but I suppose it would be "stickied"(?) and/or locked to keep it ever present as well as limited to only news and not comments. A person could then scroll to the dates they missed to get the highlights, and they could follow any links to do more detailed reading.

I think that Ellie's idea is good as well, but if the 667er is going to continue monthly (which I hope it will) wouldn't it be fulfilling that purpose? Although having it all in one thread does make it easier to access.

Kensicle's right. The 667er always has some rant about what happened anyways.

I originally typed something about the 667er, then figured he meant something more frequent since Charlie himself is behind the revived 667er. Using that method, I think it would need an article dedicated specifically to past highlights because a month's worth of activity is a lot to cover. Or... I don't know how involved he wants to make it, but he could keep track of the month's events himself and then ask certain people to write articles on those subjects in addition to the pieces about just anything to make sure that anyone who was gone could turn to the 667er for updates.

Oh, speaking of the 667er, does anyone know when Charlie wants the articles?
