I haven't been here for a few months, so I'm totally confused. What happened to Tragedy? Someone please explain, and then if you want you can delete this topic.

For various reasons, Tragedy handed over the running of the forum to All Due Respect (who is currently on holiday). The following post, and the thread it is from, explain a great deal: To 667: First of all, I haven't really left. I've just become another old member who rarely comes on and hardly posts. Wait... okay, maybe I've basically left then. Second, I'm very busy now. I used to have time to make all the improvements I wanted to, but those days are gone. instead all I receive is complaints and people criticizing me for apathy or something crazy like that. Think I'm lazy? You make fun of me however you want, but I'm going to Stanford University and that's nothing to laugh at. That brings us to the third thing. I was fast getting tired of the disrespect and veiled insults I was getting. That's right, I'm talking to you, you snotty jerk. Seriously, what do you all know about my life, and what made you think you could question my dedication? You know nothing of dedication. I was here for two years, struggling before we ever reached a hint of solid membership. Then you prance in a few years later with your ideals and your sarcasm and your claims that Tragedy does nothing for 667. You just sit there and see a crowded forum with a tired leader and think, "What a shame; if only that lazy guy would give it up." You kept up that attitude and turned new members against me. You exhausted me with accusations. You badgered me for every little thing I tried to do to improve 667 Dark Avenue. You questioned every surprise I tried to keep for you with a kind of maniac-deranged detective air. You just wouldn't lay off, like an activist or conspiracy theorist on steroids! Eventually I just stopped trying to change things and took on more complaints of laziness than ever. I hope you all enjoyed the cheap shots (don't think for a second that I don't know what was being said behind my back) you took at me, because the cost was turning a proud founder from his creation. Anyway, that issue of the 667er (you know which one I'm talking about) was the last straw, and I finalized my decision to quit being the administrator. The rest is history. Overall, none of this really matters. You'll all see it soon enough. I started this forum and I brought it through the hard days, but now things are different. The Series is over. There's always someone online. What is left for me to stay for? There is nothing left to work for, and nothing left for you to appreciate in me. I still love A Series of Unfortunate Events, but all remaining members either have some weird snide-bitter-against-the-authority complex or are too damn goofy to make a difference. I just can't devote my time to a thankless job anymore. Can't you understand that? It's been a great run. I will always be proud for the way things were before you drove me to despair and just plain wore me down. I'll always be around in some way or another. I've got a framed copy of the New York Times' article that mentions 667 on my wall, thanks to Descartes. 667 is MINE. I made it. But I'm leaving it alone now. I made 60023101 and took a risk. ADR is your administrator now, and in a few weeks you won't even remember that things were different. After all, weren't you guyzzzzzz always adamant about how it was the members that make 667 what it is? That's the truth. Good luck to you.

That's horrible! How could they say things like that? It was Tragedy who created this forum! It's because of him that all those freaks have somewhere to post their opinion which nobody would listen to off the Internet! If they think they can come in here and just do whatever they want, they're grievously mistaken.

Thank goodness for that. I just read the mass New Year greeting from him. But the Series isn't over. There'll be a few appendices, right? Like Horseradish and all. And just because we're done with the Series doesn't mean we should spoil the fun for those who have just started reading it.

Sure, why not? But I think this thread should be deleted, because now it's gone off topic. I'll post as often as I can...I should increase my post count.
