Yeah, I got confused somewhere when I was listening to some jackass prove himself wrong after saying he wasn't racist and then saying he was.
This thread must be about jackasses. What else could it be?

Thank you swans. I am very sorry if I offended anyone or sounded racists, but that doesn't mean I am going to let you all criticize me... Which, not to mention, before you do, I think all of you need to look into yourselves. You all act 100% unracists, and flip at a paragraph that might have sounded worse than it should have. Alls that tells me, is that all you ______ responding with insults and ridicularity are just a binch of racistophobes (made that word up)... What I mean, is that you probably all are racists against someone of some type, but are in denial of it... So, you simply overreact at the first opportunity, as to prove that you are definitely not racists... And no, Hispanics are not disturbing, yes, Pennsylvania does have a high population of Hispanics, and no, not all te people on this thread are jackasses, just some...

Hmmm....I'm not taking any sides here, but I think I know what Jerome is getting at. I think what he means is that it seems that the majority of the 'obnoxious, rude, and think they are tough' people are Hispanics. I don't think he means that he hates them all....surely not?
It's partially the same with the Maori here. Most of the naughty students here are Maori. I can't say that I hate all Maori, however. I know a few that are really nice people. But I really don't think you should hold it against ALL Hispanics.

Maori is the race the lived here before the Europeans moved here... and I'm not quite sure where that boy comes from...I don't think he was Maori though.

Okay, you think I am totally racist... Did I ever say I cared? And you're right, Little Typing Man, I surely am not racist against the whole general Hispanic population... There actually is one nice, quiet and polite one, but 1 compared to 50 can give you a very bad impression... Besides... Maybe to help you all understand where I am coming from (airheads like Robert)...
The Hispanics in my school:
1. Walk around saying how their country is the best, that America sucks and that they were forced to live here... (I am sorry if I take offence to that. I find it unpatriotic to not)
2. Try to force people to share their opinions about everything. (When we voted for student council, a Hispanic girl ran, and every single on of them in our school walked around "Did you vote for Vanessa?" [Fist held up...])
3. Insult every white person they can... (Like instead of insulting someone properly [i.e. 'You idiot...'], they'll say something, insinuating that it is bad to be white... ['You white-ass motherpotato er']
4. Start a fight with someone new, practically everyday...
5. Spit on you, if you disagree that Hispanics are the best people in the world...
6. Instead of listening to the teachers, as to make the class run much easier, they scream and yell and get really obnoxious...
And as I keep on saying, regaurdless of what you say/think, Robert, because I can't stress enough to you how badly I dont care, I did not mean that all Hispanics are like this...

I had something good to say, but I forgot most of it.
However, I do object to the way Jerome said a lot of what he was saying... I mean... he could have gone without using "jackass" or something to that effect every post. I get what he's saying, and think he's finally saying it like he should be, BUT there was no reason for everyone to start insulting each other, especially with completely unrelated name calling (ie: jackass). Still, those first couple posts were very badly put... anyway, that's over now. I don't agree with some of the insulting the people defending Hispanics were doing, either.
ANYWAY, I agree that some people of a certain race may be a certain way, but that doesn't mean everyone of that race is that way, and saying something like that can easily turn into a racist statement if you let stereotypes take over instead of keeping open-minded about it.

The majority of people I went to High School with were either hispanic, or Filipino. I never really amde friends with many Hispanic girls, but that's not because of their race, it's because we ran in different circles.
And if you ask any young person moved from their country, regardless of where they came from, many of them will say they liked it better at home (have many family members that moved here + kids) Even if home was a dump. You'd feel the same way if you moved from one country to the next mostly by the wishes of your parents.
There are unpleasant people in every race. And the insulting, fighting, ect you talk about isn't because of their genes, it's Popular Culture. Hispanics are "supposed" to act one way, just like blondes are "supposed" to be cheerleaders, Blacks are "supposed" to be gangerbangers,
ect ect ect ad nausaem. Turn on bloody MTV for an example.
