Well, it would seem that Freaky Green Eyes is the winner then, if there are no objections...

How about the Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Sad Stories? Its poetry ish. i should read matilda. i have 2 copies of it! i cant believe tat the trunchbull thing never happened!! I vote for the melancholy death of oyster boy, I think we should start w/something short. I found a link where they have the complete book. homepage.tinet.ie/~sebulbac/burton/home.html

I vote for the shortest book there. I don't have time to read a really thick book at the moment because i've got about 4 books I have to read for english at school already. Though, personally, I enjoy mystery novels or stuff like that. I don't ming humourous or books set in the 1800's or whatever either. I suggest we all say what types of books we all like, and the one that seems to suit all of our interest, then we can choose a book in that category.

I think it'd just be easier to read from a different category every time... everyone's going to have different interests, so it'd be easier to just make sure all categories are covered, rather than try to agree on one. The exception would be if everyone here hated one category, then we wouldn't have to read from that one.
Anyways, I think all the books on there are probably about the same length, anyway. I'd imagine that Freaky Green Eyes, though 341 pages, isn't as long as it sounds... actually, it's just about the length of The Slippery Slope (4 pages longer, and the book is the same size).

Well, anyways, it seems Freaky Green Eyes has won, so if everyone could try to get it ASAP, that'd be good.
