I've decided to start a weekly 667 magazine-type-thing. We'll provide the masses with news about: the mods, aSoUE, new fanfics and stories, etc. The staff will have to send me all articles by Saturday, and I'll post them on Sunday(doesn't apply for first week). These are the jobs I still need filled, with the requirements:
Sub Editor: Needs no explanation.
-Must be good at grammar. -Must have writing skills. -Must be free on Saturday nights(mornings in the US).
aSoUE Correspondent: The aSoUE correpondent has the job of spreading aSoUE news to those who don't infiltrate BB often but are still interested in the series.
-Must be active in aSoUE sections. -Must be a good theoriser, yet unbiased. -Must collect all NN.com clues every week.
Art Critic: Our art critic is responsible for reviewing up and coming stories in both FF and CC.
-Must be active in FF and CC.
MM Correspondent: I confess, what I really need for this job is a gossip.
-Must know everything going on in MM.
Mod Correspondent: Needs no explanation.
-Must have access to mod section.
If you want any of these jobs, PM me with an application. Please entitle the PM with the name of the job. I'd like all applications in by Friday. The results will be posted on Saturday. If we still have time, I might just be able to get out an issue by Sunday.

Hmmm. I'd like sub-editor but for the time constriction. Art Critic sounds just my thing, but can I suggest the title be "Literary Editor", as it is in, say, the Spectator?
I confess I only saw this via the Random Fact Thread...it looks like a good idea and needs more responses...

This sounds like a good idea.
I'd help but journalism isn't really my thing. Good luck with it, though!

Actually, I'm not particularly convinced by the name, Akbar...The Dark Avenue Gazette or something would perhaps be preferable. Or Another Publication...
Just noticed you asked to PM. Will do!

Hmm. I do like The Dark Avenue Gazette but the 667er appealse to me as well. Once I have the whole staff, I'll have a vote.
Oh, and Ennui is now officially the art critic. Or Literary Editor; whatever he prefers.
And I'd appreciate some more PMs from interested parties. *hint hint nudge nudge*
EDIT:George's just given me an idea: members can put advertisements into the paper. Just PM either me or the sub-editor, and we'll make sure it gets in. Banners are preferred: they will be automatically put in best spots. Links work too, but they won't be very notice-able. I'll work it out somehow.

This sounds like a good idea.
I'll apply for sub-editor, but people have alreadly applied for that. I could be the MM gossiper. Just saying, you probably won't need me that much.
Fake edit: I could be an art critic, too. Would we do drawings, too?

After a conversation with Akbar, I'm either sub-editor or MM person, but I forget which. I could have one, and Jemima the other.

I got Sub-Editor.

There needn't be dissension: the sub-editor is traditionally a plural role; I'm one of three on my school's magazine, constantly looking out for chances to assassinate the others...

I am also looking for chances to assassinate my fellow editors.
That's great. But I would like to know how many people have been accepted for the role of Sub Editor.

JAGUAR: I'm Sub-Editor!
DUPIN: I'm Sub-Editor!
SCOTTY: I'm Sub-Editor!
PIG: i'mm sub editter!!!
ENNUI: I'm clearly not hiding secret ambitions to be Sub-Editor, cough, cough.
DANTE: I'm Editor!
ANTENORA: Can't we all work this out peacably?
AMBER: Hey! Look over there! (She flees.)
REST OF 667, BELLOWING: I'M SUB-EDITOR!
(The Romans look puzzled.)

This sounds like a great idea Ennui{edit/}]Akbar (SORRY AKBAR! lol, I'm a dork)[edit] and I'm totally behind it. The only job I really could do is the MM gossip because I don't think I'm qualified for the others. I really don't know if I'd be able to or not.... could you PM me more details about the MM gossip person, as to what I would do if I did apply? Thanks and good luck!

I'm not the Generalissimo, though I'm flattered you should think so. Speak to the Editor-in-Chief, Akbar(ora Poe.)
We should have some columns for contributors like Amber, maybe in the "Secret Organisations You Should Know About" mould...
