I don't know about you, but I rarely discuss CEs in school. I think CEs are more important than history, and there should be more time for CEs...how's it in your school?

All the time, we discuss them.

That's what civics is for, isn't it? I don't have civics. The only time we get CEs is when I rile up a debate during class.

well, if my class wants to get out of work, we just ask our maths/science teacher a question or his oppinion on CE's and he raves on for hours! not that we actually listen, it just beats doing maths. but in sose/english sometimes we discuss issues concerning the whole world, like last term we did alot of discussion on refugees. but i don't think we should, well, let me re-phrase that, i don't think we should discuss CE's without exploring ALL oppinions, because i don't think it's a good idea believing some oppinion on something just because that's what your teacher believes in. if that makes any sense! lol ;D

Me and about two of my friends often discuss current events. We all have pretty much the same opinions, though. And in England, as far as i know, there is no Current Events class, and no Debate class/club. Not at my school, anyway.

I just had to say that, nothing in particular, but you're god. Endy: *Sigh* No, we don't have a CE class, but my friends Ma, B and I talk with the teachers about CEs.

My school subscribes to the ChannelOne.com tapes..we watch it every day and it basically gives a rundown on whats happening in the world.

When I was in lower school every g day or d day or e day or f day, I forget we watched these film strips on current events and they made us talk about each slide and then we had to answer questions about them. It took up all of announcements and part of first period.

We have a current events class.. and a civics class.. we have lots of things. We talked about current events in my history class last year. This year my teacher is really big on actually teaching history if you can believe it.

We had CEs last year, but not this year. And I don't know why.
