It's very exciting for this forum to have made contact with Mr. Handler at last.

Amber: "So what's up?" Me: *just having gotten to work, booting up e-mail, checking favorite websites* "Not much. Just another day...Can't wait 'til this crap is over" Amber: "Oh, it'll be all right." Me: *after a pause* "Oh my God." Amber: "Bosses?" Me: "OH MY GOD" Amber: "Are you..." Me: "OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU" Amber: "I know..." Me: "No, not you. I mean, you, but not right....I...Oh my God. OH MY CENSORED GOD."
Oh Mr. Handler. All is forgiven.
Sam, when you marry me, can we frame it?

Wow, these are awesome. Congrats to everyone who got chosen and everyone else who came up with questions. Thanks Tragedy and Mr Handler these have certainly made Friday the 13th a little less unfortunate.

I hate to admit it, but this honestly gave me the chills. I don't see authors and the such reaching out to the fanbase like this very often; this is awesome... err, Absolutely Atrocious?

hey im guessing ur knowledgable in this subject... is there going to be a fourteenth book coming out? if so do you think you can give me the details on it, i would really appreciate it thx! There's currently no news that I'm aware of of any upcoming full-blown novels by Lemony Snicket, particularly not an aSoUE follow-up, but some of Mr. Snicket's answers do suggest there may be one. Upcoming books by Lemony Snicket that we know of are two books for younger children, The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming (a Christmas story set for release in late October) and The Composer is Dead (an education in the instruments of the orchestra, set for release in late 2008). (And, of course, aSoUE is being reprinted in paperback with new illustrations and complementary materials by other authors.) Daniel Handler, who writes novels mainly for adults, is known to be at work on a novel about a modern-day pirate, although no further details are known at this time.

Hooray! Congratulations everyone! Those questions were excellent and I loved the answers. My husband has The End, signed, "Never refuse a breath mint". I wonder how excited he will be to learn that is DH's personal philosphy?
