And sure, magic might be an over-used subject, but that just makes it more amazing that Ms Rowling has been able to be so successful. I must admit that I have a tendancy to dislike fantasy books [unless they're like Twilight with fantasy concepts in a normal world] but I rather enjoy Harry Potter.

I hate Twilight to the bone. It was so poorly done that I had to stop reading.

J.K. Rowling's writing does have its flaws, but I like the books. It does get annoying when a book you hate is so popular, so I see where you're from.

I hate Twilight. I LOVE Harry Potter. I mean, someone who hates Harry Potter must go to the mental hospital NOW. And probably the only people who hate Harry Potter are Protestant fanatics who think that using magic for the cause of good is still a sin.
