The reason I ask this is because I'm pretty sure Beatrice Jr. and LS did meet up in the end. I think this because BB TO LS #6, I am pretty sure is from Beatrice Jr., since it says Beatraice Baudelaire on the front, and Beatrice Sr.'s last name would not have been Baudelaire yet. In that note, it says to rip it in half if LS did not want to meet, and Beatrice Jr. wouldn't try to contact him again. Notice, though, that the not isn't ripped in half. So DID they meet?
If we can figure this out, we could possibly solve the mystery of the sugar bowl, the great unknown, every thing in asoue.

My own theory on this is - well, I just posted it earlier: Here's my old theory: BB to LS #6 is actually to a youth of about Beatrice's age who just happens to have the initials LS; consequently, it foreshadows that the entire series of unfortunate events is set to repeat over again in some form. TBL can be very depressing. Lemony wants so badly to avoid Beatrice; her name, her very existence, must cause him great sorrow, and he can't possibly have any good news for her.

So do you think that they are going to grow up and this whole thing will kind of... happen again?

That's what I think. No happy ending... no ending at all. Some people just have the worst luck. Alternatively, they'll have better luck. They'll live the unfulfilled dreams of the past. They'll be what couldn't be before.

That could be possible. So you think she was tracking the wrong person the whole time? I find that kind of unlikely that she had mistaken a boy of her own age to be Lemony Snicket.

No. I think BB to LS #6, and only BB to LS #6, was to another LS. The rest are to Lemony Snicket; that's hard to deny. But BB to LS #6 is much more ambiguous.

But why would she have sent it to him then?

To who, LS or Lemony Snicket? She sent the calling card to LS for the same reason Lemony Snicket sent a calling card to Beatrice. If you're asking why Lemony Snicket has it in his files - he's an expert researcher. He'd have obtained it somehow. (And how else is the reader supposed to see it?)

Well, that's an idea. There are endless theories, really. Anything could be possible. I think that we'll just have to wait until another book comes out (if that happens, at least) to find out.

Yes, it would be interesting. There are so many theories, and any of them could be right (or at least most of them). It's like trying to solve a mystery without enough clues. After all, nothing is too crazy in asoue.

Maybe they didn't meet. Maybe one of the Baudelaires died. That is why we have fanfics to read of what we think happens. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/253263/images/JRTsZzZbophHygLEg0lM.gif)
