Haha, yay for gay. Yeah the thing shouldn't even have gone to court because, constitutionally, the government shouldn't even interfere with marriage.

I know, what I meant was that Prop 8 should have just been rejected, and the ban should have been lifted, because it's an unconstitutional ban.

Didn't want to make another thread, but it seems Hawaii is considering allowing same-sex civil unions now.

The Iowa Supreme Court ruled that a law banning gay marriage is unconstitutional. Gay marriage is legal in Iowa starting April 24th. PROGRESS!
I think I'm going to change this thread to "Gay Marriage".
