On April 9th, the governor of Colorado signed a law making same-sex unions legal starting in July. It's a step closer.

I don't like gay marriage, but I don't really care. Let people marry their own gender if they want to. It doesn't matter to me. All that matters to me is that I'm not homosexual.

I don't see why it matters so much, it should just be allowed everywhere because people have a right to like who they like.

People wanting to marry others of the same gender is unnatural. There have been no cultures to have survived on same sex marriages. The only reason we're here is because of a relationship between a man and a woman. And I don't care what anyone else says, you're not born gay. Even the APA is changing their mind on that issue. Even though I don't agree with the marriages, I don't see why it matters if they're allowed to get married or not. ..They shouldn't be allowed to adopt children though.

There have been no cultures to have survived on same sex marriages.. There are quite a few cultures that did not survive period. Never have we had a people that were entirely consisting of same sex partnerships (I know, I visited the Isle of Lesbos with my video camera).
In the end I humbly submit a counter point from the beloved Plato in his Speech of Aristophanes. www.anselm.edu/homepage/dbanach/sym.htm I'm not even going to quote it for you here, I'll leave you to choose to enlighten yourself or you may continue with your opinion...
As a parting thought I ask this: Let's set aside whether being gay is immoral or unnatural...can you deny love's manifestation between two beings both created with free will? Who are you to deny love it's due and to limit the expression and dedication of two sentient beings who want to live with the same rights and respect of union as their fellow human beings?

And I don't care what anyone else says, you're not born gay. Even the APA is changing their mind on that issue. I don't know if one is born gay or not, but it is certainly not in the hands of an individual to choose who they are sexually attracted to and who they are not.

They shouldn't be allowed to adopt children though. Why? That's ridiculous and discriminatory.
