Oh dear. I recently got out TUA from my local library, but to my utter dismay and woe found that pages 47 through 70 are completely missing. Clearly some trecherous villian has removed these pages in order to hide such secrets from noble volunteers. Could anyone please inform me of what information is found on these pages, in detail?

Are they missing as in forcibly ripped out, or missing as in a printer error and they weren't in that copy to begin with?

How very mysterious. I hope VKSB was able to help you in detail. For the curious observer without their copy to hand, page 47 is where the Building Committee meeting transcript ends (specifically, the very note which talks about how the rest of the transcript is being hidden - very suspicious), and from there it's the collection of related photographs, the letter about recruiting a small child whose photographs I suspect are Daniel Handler's, Lemony's dairy entry about Dr. Sebald, his list of titles for his autobiography, the excerpt from the Zombies in the Snow screenplay, and nearly the entirety of Sally Sebald's letter to Lemony.
I wonder, falsespring - is it 47 through 70 that's missing, or 47 through 72? The starting point seems so improbable a coincidence that I feel the end point should be a little less arbitrary.

Thanks, I got what I needed from good ol' VKSB. And no, it's up to page 70- The next page show a picture of Gustav Sebald with a snowman. And it seems the pages have fallen out almost; there are no rips or tears, but there is a distinct gap between the pages and the binding. It is indeed very curious that the pages were ripped out ~after~ the transcript... Perhaps someone had a reason to remove those particular pages?
