Hey everybody, welcome to the 2008 Darkies. I'm your host, Willis. It’s great to see everyone out there. Who’s here tonight? Oh wow look everybody, it’s the admin. Hey bro, your suit looks tragic. Luckily your date’s dress is really fancy. Man, I’m glad so many people were able to make it out here. Gigi and Dear Dairy, nominated for best pairing. They were going to be here, but it was the same day as bingo night. We invited newfoundlandtim and dragongirl too, but they mysteriously didn’t show up. There are so many nominees here. Some of the awards are impossible to predict. There’s BSam, nominated for several awards. Before the show I asked him what he thought his chances for winning something was and he said 'who?' Wow, I’m just still impressed about how many people showed up. Some even brought dates. Wasabi arrived with Sora, but it appears he’s sitting next to Kyle now. Look theres shruti, and she brought herself as a date. One of the most exciting awards of the night is best moment. So many good moments are nominated. It’s a shame that my birthday got looked over.
Now that my terrible stand up is over, it's time for the awards to be presented. Celebrities from 667's history will be presenting them throughout the day. Thanks to everybody who voted, your choices will finally be revealed. Get ready for the 2008 Darkies.

Hey guys - I'm here to present the award for Best Moderator
The moderators are the cogs in 667’s administrative machinery – essential, hard-working, and often complained about. Yet though we may rant and rave about certain mods, there are many worth appreciation, who do their jobs with dedication and don’t look for any appreciation or glory. In the spirit of giving these invaluable people their due respect, the nominees areall well-recognized and well-respected. There was, however, one among their number who was the most looked-up-to, the keenest of them all – the victor.

Congrats to our winners. You know, the 667 Darkies are a great thing because they help us show our respect for people who help make our forum the best all the time. I was entrusted the job of making the banners for the winners, so they have a little reminder of this great event. Cyber, those banners are fantastic.
Wish I'd thought of it sooner -- We could've had a red-carpet arrival thread for a few days before the awards presentation, interviewing 667 celebs and showing off our glamorous evening clothes. I'll have to remember this idea for next year's Darkies.

Hey everyone! *waves* So, I'm here presenting 667's Most Unfortunate Member award. Let's get this thing rolling, shall we? Ehem. *clears throat*
It’s what we all relish in, actually – sheer misfortune. After all, that’s what drew this whole forum, this beautiful, crazy community, together. And so, in honour of all this alluring calamity, we present to you 667’s Most Unfortunate Member. Wow, what an award show so far.
Gigi won the best moderator. Way to go
Kwanzaa Kraze was voted best story. How exciting.
And Dante surprised everybody by sweeping up the Most Unfortunate award.
