Apologies for bumping and for the extremely long delay in returning to this.
Looking the Part, 3 and 4.
Oh gosh!
I'm guessing Erik's mother is Sally - presumably he took his mother's name because he was following in her brother's footsteps.
Erik seems a bit thick - 'Ther were three freaks with the same names and disabilities as you, but obviously this is a complete coincidence'. I wonder if he's related to Mr Poe.
'Esme' is clearly Carmelita. (Should we suppose the real Esme to be dead?) 'Olaf'' is probably Ernest - clearly he never found Susan, alas. But he might be Frank, alienated by his brother's death.
It's not clear - I guess deliberately - just how much time has passed; but not that much, since Beatrice is still a baby.
And oh! the end. How tragic. But also how ambiguous. So we now know how Beatrice became separated from the Baudelaires. The Baudelaires are probably dead - but not certainly (after all they didn't die last time), so it makes sense for the search for them to go on. A very unfortunate conclusion.
It's Never that Simple.
Oh Dante! Wasn't the end of the actual series distressing enough for you? Very impressively written,. though.

Thanks for getting back to this, Hermes. It's been a long time since I've read these works myself (maybe I should add The Arcane Academy to the list, but I was always far too satisfied with managing to have a fourteen-part list in sync with the series and so I probably won't), but I think you're right about your presumptions in Looking the Part. It's... a good point that there's a depressing as well as distressing element to a lot of my fanfiction, but I think that's just how an ASoUE fanfic should be.

By the way, does the drink the sinister duo use to revive Olaf come from any particular source?

Hey Dante, I read your story "Into the Great Unknown" and I must say it´s fantastic! The dialogue is great and I can tell who everyone is just by the way they speak, which is awesome aswell. And I loved Isadora´s poems. Nice job.

Thanks, Fredy; that's exactly what I was aiming to do, and it's good to hear that it worked for you.

Of course it's possible.
