Kit & Dewey (TPP Spoilers)

Okay so in TPP it implies that Kit and Dewey are in love right? So, is Kit pregnant with Dewey's child? Are they married/dating/engaged?

Kit's child is generally thought to be Dewey's, yes. We don't know anything about their personal lives, but there are several hints that they mean a great deal to each other.

They might well be married; it's quite likely that Kit wouild go on using her maiden name, especially as Dewey's existence is secret. But it's equally possible that they aren't.

I agree that's likely. Not just because Dewey was secret, but also because she was proud to be a Snicket .

I don't think are married, no. Dewey refers to Kit as his comrade, a word akin in meaning to 'partner' and partner does not equal wife. If she were his wife, he'd probably say so. But yes, she is pregnant with his child.

I don't think they'd have the time for a proper marriage, in any case. And I don't think that it would be very significant to either.

Yes, I agree. Not enough free time, too much action, too many secrets, too much death - no time to worry about a proper marriage, which would take long to plan anyway.

Also, volunteers have a history of failing at romance. Take Lemony as an example.^^ lol

;D Poor, poor Lemony. He was so meant to be with Beatrice! I think it would be really awesome if in the end of The End, Beatrice was found to be alive and had been in hiding or something. (If that is the case, don't tell me! I'm only 1/3 of the way thru The End)

Isadora Q <33, don't read this as it contains spoilers. I think it's a good thing Beatrice and Lemony didn't end up together. Not because I don't want the best for Lemony, just that I think it's a really significant plot point, and they ended up together that would be taken away.

I agree. I mean if Lemony and Beatrice had gotten married there wouldn't be Violet, Klaus or Sunny to begin with.

There could be three children, though. Some people say Lemony is Violet's father, even though I find that unlikely. Beatrice apparantly had a lot of reasons for not marrying Lemony.

First, just wanted to say thanks for all the spoiler warnings . And speaking of that, I think that the story of LEmony and Beatrice is one of the saddest ever. Also Dewey and Kit though. Like how when she washed up on the shores of the island she kept saying how Dewey might come...

It gets even more tragic, of course, when it turns out that Kit is keeping something from the Baudelaires, too. How far through The End are you now?

Um, the islanders just locked Olaf in the bird cage and abandoned the Baudelaires and Olaf is trying to get them to let him out . I kinda feel bad for him here...
