On page 229 of Chapter 9 of Book the Twelfth we are in the middle of Olaf's count down to the harpooning of Dewey.
Violet takes a step towards Olaf at the count of FOUR. Klaus then takes a step forward "joining his sister" Finally, at the count of SIX the book reads: ""Please," Sunny said, joining her sisters."
Is the use of the words sisters a typo? Logic suggest it should be "joining her siblings" or "joining her brother and sister".
Or is this a code?

I think it was a mistake. Here it is, from the Great Re-Read: For more on this topic, you should check the re-read thread. They've discussed the book there~

Thanks, tk. Aye, this seems to me to be a pretty clear typo. They do exist here and there, although they're mostly numerical errors.

Unless, of course, there's some crazy possibility that Klaus is a transvestite.

I believe this was present in the first edition of the book, and I don't know if they ever corrected it, although I suspect not. Maybe the next time any of us visit a bookstore, we could pick up a copy of TPP, check how recent an edition it is, and see if the typo is still present.

I can't remember which book it was (I think it might've been TRR) and noticed "unforunate" instead of "unfortunate."

Given that it's in the title of the series, that's a pretty unfortunate mistake to make.
