- - - - - Dear Reader, If you found this story in hopes of reading something that could keep you warm in a cold autumn evening, it would be best if you found a warmer story to read because the horrors contained in this story are as shivery and dreadful as soup that someone put in the freezer. The Baudelaire orphans find themselves in the dreaded Anwhistle Aquatics in search of the sugarbowl, kept safe underwater in THE SHIVERY SHRINE. Following their villainous enemies in a journey at sea, the four Baudelaires encounter such chilling things as a bikini made out of seashells and seaweed, a mysterious insignia, a dreadful sea captain, a tidal wave, a rebuilt station in the middle of the sea, and the return of a terrible, venomous fungi variety. So, dear reader, unless you are used to shivers, cold, and chillyness, you might want to use this book as combustible for your fireplace instead of facing potential hypothermia from the cold, cold story contained inside. With all due respect, Tiago Squalor - - - - -

Intriguing, indeed. I do like the banner you've made, and look forward to another largely entertaining and Snicket-ly centered installment!

I agree with Dante and Sherry Ann on the basis that this story is indeed intriguing - and it hasn't even begun yet! I love the idea of a bikini fashioned out of seashells and seaweed (now, I wonder who will be wearing that? ). Knowing that this installment will involve the return of a deadly mushroom makes me nervous, but certainly won't keep me from enjoying every moment of this story from beginning to end.

Cc: Mama Rosquel, Rosa Quigalot, D. Subject: Map showing the rebuilt A.A.'s location
Found under a rock at Briny Beach, still wet and salty from ocean water. No fingerprints found. Kept for further investigation in the new Baudelaire case.

Well, there are a few intriguing items besides A.A. on the map. Reading aSoUE, there are always two interpretations of every question mark.

A bikini fashioned of seashells and seaweed is surely very in.
The map is fascinating. I think I know who Mama Rosquelo and Rosa Quigalot are. (But has Mama Rosquelo got an extra O somehow?)

This does feel like a real series. The map is very interesting, and I'm rather excited to learn the identity of the ever-mysterious D.

You did an excellent job on the map, Tiago, and I love that you've incorporated some authentic "Snicket" fonts. Unlike Hermes, I'm stumped as to who Mama Rosquelo is, though I do have something of an idea as to who Rosa Quigalot might be. Both characters have really fun names, too, btw.

The following photographs are clipped from the The Daily Punctilio All the news in fits of prints Before After TO: Rosa Quigalot, current address unknown Subject: Two pictures of A.A.
No one approaches the A.A. as of now except a group of V.F. - the last initial was blurry and so was the next word - whose purposes are unknown. Notable activity occurred in the past few - the next words were also illegible - including a sighting of the mysterious - the rest of the document was illegible -- - - - - Also found on the same piece of paper was a post-it containing the following handwritten note.Remind me to post this in the mail next wednesday if I discover the address. These documents were found in a warehouse at Hazy Harbor. E had a hard time putting up with the stench of fish that came off of them. S informed her that lemon juice removes the smell.- - - - - The following was found inside a rubber duck, which was found in a cardboard box wrapped in gift paper, with a black satin bow.A.A. Shrine encases a mysterious object. I wonder what it could be, and if it is what I also think it could be, then I wonder how it wound up there, and I wonder who took it there, and who convinced the people there that hiding it there would be a good idea, because I think it was really not. With all due respect, D. P.s.: It is still to dangerous for Cindry's sake to disclose my identity in a letter hidden inside a rubber duck. Please, help her and the four Baudelaires. Only you can help them at this point.- - - - - The Shivery Shrine
