Wow, I had a lot to catch up on! I found the bit involving E and her complaints about the smell of fish to be very humorous - it should provide much comic relief in many approaching chapters. I wonder for what purpose the all-metal diving suit will be used, besides diving? Hmm... What could it have been that frightened the diving-suited, bicycling volunteer? So many questions abound! Will they be answered? I guess we'll have to wait and see... Be careful Emmz, the E mentioned might not be the first one that pops into your head! Just saying! lol As for the other questions...you'll see!

E : Does he have the four orphans with him already?

E: Bloody hell!
W: *blush*
E: Has any vessel approached our station?
W: As of now, no, not yet.
E: Good. Now get back to your training. We will need those bats to be in good shape.
W: Yes, E. *leaves*
E: You! *pointing at new agent* Get me a hot cup of coffee STAT!
Y: *scared* S-sure, E! *runs off*
E: *approaches the window, overlooking the ocean*

I really liked the ending- there's one similar to it in the UA. And E isn't the first E we think of? She seems to share a number of characteristics with her; all the more mysterious!

The A.A. V.F.D. Staff Meeting Transcript. E was very amusing here, even if she is a little bossy. But that's part of the charm of her character, right? ;D I look forward to learning more about her and her fellow volunteers in future chapters/fics. That's a really cool photograph you've put together of the ocean through a telescope, and I agree with Sherry Ann that that caption is very clever.

Wow! I have an idea who E might be, though I may be wrong, but W and Y are mysteries to me. Am I right in thinking that the note-taker might be T?

I think I know who W is; may I state my speculation, Tiago? Please! Well, then, I'd suspected W was Widdershins because this is clearly taking place in a aquatic setting, and you've stated that "the E mentioned might not be the first one that pops into your head", which leads me to believe that we are not dealing with Esmé, who Widdershins would never associate himself with. There's also the part where W displays embarrasment to E's reaction of M being dead, so I'm wondering if he was somehow associated with his or her death, of which I have a different theory for. W also is in the process of training bats, which I'm sure Widdershins would be good at because of his practice of training salmon to swim upstream- that is, training seemingly non-trainable animals to preform somewhat abnormal behaviors (this is a bit of a stretch, but if anything, his patience with the salmon would aid him in this task). Widdershins is also never pronounced dead- he simply dissapears, so it's possible he could be making a return. Edit: Am I close?

I can see why one would imagine W to be Widdershins, I see where you're coming from. I'd like to know your other theory also. Plus, I want to add that I'm very flattered that you'd think up theories about my work, that is very flattering to me as a writer. ^^ Hm, I can't answer that without spoiling everything, sorry. XD

The Daily Punctilio
All the news in fits of prints Briny Breezes Pub: A review by Geraldine Julienne, Just outside the Hazy Harbor, Briny Breezes Pub offers an unique telescope that enables customers to view the aquatic station of Anwhistle Aquatics, which was burned in the year of - - - - ( the number was illegible) by the Widdershins family's men, Captain Widdershins and Fernald Widdershins. The station has been rebuilt, and the pub is the perfect place to look at it while sipping on a nice root beer float, or an ice cream soda. They also make any type of in drinks and cocktails including aqueous martinis, and briny martinis - which are made from sea water served with an olive - which are very in at the moment. Plus, the pub is very well-frequented, and is close to the Pitiful Pier, which provides for an opportunity to go on a healthy walk, or the carroussel. Briny Breezes has a comfortable number of tables and chairs, and very fancy dishes. It is also an excelent place to meet Anwhistle Aquatics staff when they are allowed to visit land. For this and for that, make sure to stop by the charming pub, Briny Breezes, next time you need to get away! It was just an idle thought I had concerning Friday's mother and Fiona's mother. I understand; that's why I asked permission before publically speculating, incase I was right. The Daily Punctilio article: Briny Breezes Pub is indeed a great name, and the picture looks just like something you would find on Briny Beach.

That image is both beautiful and amazing, Tiago! And I, too, agree that those are indeed some fabulous names you've got going on. *laughs* They'd better not hire Cindry Fulfillment as a waitress if they don't want to spend all the money they bring in for food and drinks on new dishes.
