Yeah, I've always compared The Anxious Clown to McDonald's. I actually used to like fast food when I was little. I had all my birthday parties there, but I think since becoming a teenager, I've found it absolutely revolting. I had a Happy Meal once about five years ago and it felt as though I was about to die from it *shudder* But when I went out with my mum and her boyfriend last weekend, he wanted to take me there for something to eat. I just had a chocolate milkshake (my favourite beverage besides Diet Coke) and it tasted good. Really good. It was an Scuba Steve of chocolatey goodness. But I don't think I could start eating fast food again, since most of it is just meat and I don't eat meat.

in my opinion the anxious clowwn is a terrible name I'm reasonably confident that that's the joke. No real restaurant, fast food or otherwise, would give itself such an unsettling name, but the citizens of the aSoUE world are willing to put up with some fairly bonkers stuff. Although I guess I could compare it to the names of pubs: "The King's Head," and so on. Although it's also a parody of the cheerful atmosphere of McDonald's.
