That's another pretty cool alternative, with a classic false document style rather than something more like a cover image. We'll still need a banner, though, even if everything else is coming together.

Ah, crap, what I missed? Had to be away for a while, I'm sitting for my final exams (last paper is Biology, this Friday!!!!!) The second template looks sweet, blake! Well, he should be very concerned that fans of his books are trying to come up with "41 reasons to be concerned" on his birthday... XD I read this after coming up with my thing, which is basically this in another phrasing. Doesn't make it any less awesome however. Ha, but your sentence is awesomer though. Still haven't come up with anything yet. I'll try, though. |

We have about a week to go. What are people's thoughts re: art at the moment? Do we still want to collect up any fanart? If we go with blake's style, we could still feature them at the sides or as backgrounds.

I'm not sure we'd have enough time to get the fanart together, though. Unless it was fanart already drawn.

Which is a possibility, I think, if people think they've made something particularly good recently.
Also, blake, when we've got all the material together, which will be sometime within the week, would you be available to combine it all into an image very much like the ones you've already produced?

Tragedy suggested that we avoid uploading signatures per se this time around, so I imagine that the letter will conclude with the names, typed out, of everyone who's contributed to the birthday project (as in my original image prototype).

I'm thinking of officially closing submissions when I get up on Friday, so I can work on compiling the official letter that day, so that any image work can be done over the weekend. Any objections?
