Videos are at the bottom of this post!Dear members of 667 Dark Avenue, It is with great condolences that I have to announce that, after the heart wrenching story of the Baudelaire orphans in the 13 books of "A Series of Unfortunate Events", I am now continuing the emotional train wreck with "A Series of Unfortunate Videos". You may be wondering why I would want to inflict such grievous material on you unsuspecting forum members, and the reason is simply because you are the strongest willed people on the planet - after all, you have already managed to survive the terrible story of the Baudelaire orphans, and only most of you appear to be clinically insane. If you are in the mood for an audio recording of an evil hypnotist, a letter concerning a carefully planned concert, and a small performance from a well known Snicket brother, then I don't believe you, and if you really are then you have only no idea of what monstrosities are to follow. The videos will, fortunately, be very short, but unfortunately, there will be a fair few of them (a phrase which here means "hundreds of the bleeding things"), and if you do not wish to weep through a series of unfortunate discoveries, then I don't blame you. The videos will rather be like Unauthorized Autobiography entries - short, hazy insights into the world of ASoUE. And, like religion, philosophy and Chocolate Weetabix, they will probably end up presenting more questions than answering them. The VideosPart 1Part 2With all due respect, LittleLaurence.

Very good! It's quite creepy. I wonder if it's Dr. Orwell? Or somebody else? Hmm... But I think a transcript might be useful as well, as it's a little difficult to hear what's being said.

Ah, what an excellent idea; aSoUE is well-suited to this form - a story told through weird, short fragments, often distorted. It'll be interesting to see how this evolves.

This is a good idea... I'm surprised it hasn't really been done before. I agree with LSWannaBe though, I feel like it's Doctor Orwell.

What a fantastic way to recreate the ASOUE universe. The audio clip itself is quite creepy indeed--I agree that Dr. Orwell is the speaker in this case.

Brilliant! Yes, definitely Dr Orwell - notice she says 'Shirley' at one point.

What an extraordinarily done video! I can't identify the narrator as anyone else, other than the renowned Dr. Orwell. I look forward to hearing more of these.

Wow, thank you very much for the positive feedback! I wasn't actually expecting much positivity regarding this, so I'm pleased you all seem to have enjoyed it. Here is Part 2 of A Series of Unfortunate Videos. It is slightly more cryptic, but the next part will clear some of it up. Just to let you know, if you would like to subscribe to UnfortunateVideo1, the YouTube account I upload the videos to, then feel free as you will be notified as to when each new video in the series comes out. Thanks everyone.

Oohh...this was every bit as intriguing as the last video! I wonder what sort of danger was happening at the concern, and who "Br" is? Also, I like the difference between mediums; it makes me wonder what your next video will involve. Perhaps some kind of illustration? Hmm...

I enjoyed the Orwell video. I think I should try to make a video, too.

Br?! WHO'S BR?! Could the concert in question be Nero's (terrible) violin recital?

"Br," eh? There are three characters in the series whose name begins with those letters... assuming it's any of them, I think the candidate I'd pick would be the one we already know to have written to Mr. Snicket at least once.

Who are the characters?
EDIT: Bruce is one of them, right?

AHA!
I can think of a second, and yes, he has written to Lemony (though not in the main series). (It's someone very obvious, though you may not think of him as a character.)
Edit: OK, found the third. I agree it won't be him.

True Snicket style! Well, I'm only able to think of two Br characters at the moment, since the only third one I have in mind is more of a title than a name.
