It looks wonderful. The left and top sides are from the spines of American editions, and the right and bottom sides are from the British editions, right?

I have just sent "Whose Birthday Could It Be On This Date?" And that closes the project. Many thanks again, everyone, for all of your hard work, and another birthday successfully celebrated! Even though we should technically only be celebrating today. It looks wonderful. The left and top sides are from the spines of American editions, and the right and bottom sides are from the British editions, right? They're all from the American editions - the 2nd, 4th, 8th, and 12th books, respectively. I felt that the numerological motif should be kept consistent even in this small way.

Happy birthday Mr. Handler! May the meaning of life, the universe, and everything not trouble you on this day.
Also, I quite like that subject line.

This is truly splendid! I an't really take credit for the 'hard work' of writing forty-two words, but thanks to Dante for organising it, and to all the brilliant artists as well as the writers!

Thanks to everyone who contributed, and especially to Dante for organizing everything so well! I'm eager to see if Handler will give us a response.

Could've done the banner myself, but I'd like to send my best wishes to Daddy Danny, too.

I have received an indication that Mr. Handler has acquired our gift and is contemplating a response. More information as I receive it, although I get the impression that that might take a while. Be patient.

Did you get the impression that it was sent from Handler himself, or just a rep?

I know that Mr. Handler is planning something, or planning on planning something, let's put it that way. But again, I don't expect to hear anything for a while yet.

@ Countess Violet
Thanks! "One Hundred Years Of Solitude" is one of my favourite novels, and that quote is probably my favourite one from it.
