Due to an unexpected glitch in the cyberspace-time continuum, this story went on hiatus.
Update coming soon.

Previously on BTT667F...
Hermes, the mad scientist of 667 Dark Avenue, enlisted Kensicle to do some research into the history of the forum. By using some clever techno-wizardry he has transported her inside her computer. Now Kensicle travels through cyberspace and time, reliving the past, present and future. Unfortunately, her interference has caused a ripple effect that is threatening the very existence of 667 itself...
Chapter 6
Kensicle decided it was time to go home, back to the present. She set the dials on her dashboard and drove off at 88kbps. When the forum materialised around her once more, she knew instantly that something was wrong. Where the clock tower had once stood was now a looming skyscraper, stretching into the clouds. Menacing Miscellaneous Park had been paved over and turned into a parking lot. The other boards had also been shut down and converted into cheap shopping centres.
Kensicle couldn’t understand what had happened. She felt dizzy as she stepped out of the car. At the entrance to the skyscraper was a sign that read Gigi Tower. That was of some comfort to Kensicle, who was just happy to see a familiar name. She entered through a revolving door and made her way inside. She didn’t get very far, unfortunately, before a security guard stopped her. “Excuse me, miss,” the guard said, grabbing her by the arm. “Where do you think you’re going?” “I’m sorry, Ms Songbird,” Kensicle said, reading the guard’s badge. “I was hoping to see Gigi.” “Not without a security check, you’re not,” Songbird replied. “Spread ‘em.” Kensicle raised her arms and waited as Songbird frisked her. She was sure that the intensity of the security check was excessive but decided it would be better not to say anything. “What do we have here?” Songbird asked as she pulled out the picture from Kensicle’s pocket. “Oh...” Kensicle said. “I forgot I had that. It’s just a photo someone took of me.” “It doesn’t look like you,” Songbird said, twisting the photo back and forth. She was right. Most of Kensicle’s torso in the picture had vanished by now. She grabbed the photo from Songbird’s hand and stared at it in confusion. “Whatever, you’ve passed the security check. Just don’t cause any trouble.”
Kensicle made her way to the top of the tower, still trying to understand what was wrong with her photograph. Suddenly it fell out of her grasp and she scrambled to pick it up but her left hand was disappearing in front of her eyes. She was now more worried than ever as she burst into Gigi’s office. “What the –“ Gigi began. She saw Kensicle and stopped dead in her tracks. “It’s you. What are you doing here?” “Gigi, what’s going on? What have you done to 667 Dark Avenue?” “667 Dark Avenue? Oh please, that’s long gone. Once Pandora won the VFDoor fair and square, I was free to focus on my kids. Since the 667ers pitied my loss, they helped my kids win two hundred different competitions. My family became rich enough to buy this dump and renovate it into a mainstream business. Isn’t it wonderful?” “You MONSTER!” Kensicle shouted. She ran across the room and tried to punch Gigi but her fists just passed straight through her. “What are you?” Gigi asked, horrified. “I’m a 667er,” Kensicle spat as she ran out of the tower and back towards her car. Hopefully there was still time to set things right.

Even though I started this story with this latest chapter (appreciate the "previously on...") I can't wait to see what happens next! Also Hermes as the mad professor is a brillant idea.

And I don't mean "a" mad professor, I mean "the" mad professor from Back to the Future. He's knowledgable, likeable and wacky in a cool way. I guess you're not that wacky, Hermes, but all the other things!

Chapter 7
Kensicle looked at the dials inside her DeLorean, filled with flashing lights and buttons. There was one unmarked red button set far apart from the rest. With no other options, she put all of her effort into pushing it, hoping that her insubstantial weight would be enough. Her ghostly hands finally lowered and the car made a crunching noise.
The clocks spun and, outside the car’s windows, various incarnations of 667 shot by. Kensicle realised she was visiting everywhere and everywhen she had been, but in reverse. The skyscraper disappeared, giving way to the clock tower. The Vernacularly Fastened Door shot up and quickly vanished. 667ers sped by, not seeming to notice the passage of time. Suddenly everything stopped. Kensicle looked around and realised she was back in the cyberspace where her adventure began.
Hermes was about to step into a separate DeLorean. Kensicle shouted his name as her door swung open. His head swivelled around sharply. “Kensicle?! What are you doing here? I calibrated your co-ordinates over a mile away so that I could make a dramatic entrance.” “Hermes, it’s me... from the future!” Kensicle fell to the floor, her legs unable to support her any more. “Please. Don’t send me there. Whatever I did, it’s killing me.” Hermes approached her, his face ashen and stern. “Oh dear, I didn’t wish for this. Come with me if you want to live.” He bundled her up and took her into his car. Together they drove towards the Kensicle of the past.
Hermes stepped out and looked at the confused girl. “I’m sorry,” he said. “There’s been a mistake. The experiment has been cancelled.” “I don’t understand,” past Kensicle said. “Where am I?” From inside the car, Kensicle remembered something. She needed to warn Hermes but her vocal chords were disappearing. Hermes heard the faint noise and tried to make out what she was saying. “Libyans? What are you talking about?” Tyres screeched towards the DeLorean as a van approached. “Oh... you were saying Libby and Trikip. My bad.”
The siblings bailed out of the van and Trikip grabbed Past Kensicle. Libby stepped close to Hermes and slapped him. “How dare you hack into my account?” she spat. “Typical untrustworthy man. If you ever want to see your friend again you’ll make a formal apology. Otherwise we’ll make her disappear.” Hermes chuckled. “You know what? I’d like nothing better.” Libitina was confused but she ordered Trikip to kidnap the girl in his arms and the gang drove off into cyberspace. Back in the DeLorean, Kensicle looked as her hand slowly grew more solid. Her legs found substance again and she was able to talk once more. “Thank you, Doc! Thank you so much!” she yelled as she embraced Hermes. “Wait... what’s going to happen to her? I mean me. Past me.” “Oh, I wouldn’t worry about that,” Hermes said with a pained expression. “Thinking too hard about the physics of time travel just gives people headaches. It’s best to just ignore any inconsistencies,” he winked at the audience. “For now you just worry about telling me your story.”
Together they walked into the distance, leaving the past and the future far behind.

Epilogue
Sherry Ann wandered across the cyber plains, wearing a deerstalker cap and smoking a pipe. As she came across the DeLorean she did what she does best and began to rap.
“My name’s Sherry Ann and I’m here to say, It’s fun to rap in a time travel way. A-zippin’ back and forward through time and space, Leaving paradoxes all over the place. So kids take note of Kensicle’s tale And read between the lines if you want to prevail Or you’ll fail On epic scale To no avail. Yo, yo, this is MC S.A. in the hizzy. Peace.”

Beautiful final chapter, and certainly the rap of the epilogue is far more coherent than anything I could piece together.
