I'm glad to see a non-English territory excited for ATWQ (I mean, DVV): www.pimentokinderboeken.nl/boek/Wie-is-dat-op-dit-uur-van-de-nacht-De-verkeerde-vragen-%E2%80%93-deel-1-T424.htmlAuto-translated text: --- After his international bestseller series Miserable adventures, of which there are more than 60 million copies sold worldwide, the world famous Lemony Snicket on the point to reveal the details of his very unusual youth ... In a fading town, far from everything and everyone away, started the young detective as a pupil for a Lemony Snicket anonymous Organization. He suggested questions that he actually had not. He wrote of his experiences in a book that actually should be not published, and that alone should be read. But he has nevertheless asked the questions and his experiences written down. In the wrong questions he first gives the right answers to the wrong questions ... The wrong questions is the authorized autobiography of Lemony Snicket and contains illustrations of the renowned American cartoonist Seth. The series is designed for anyone who ever wrong questions at the wrong time. In short: a series where no one will talk about the coming years! --- Apparently this comes out in November, which is a fairly quick turnaround, but since it sounds like they'll be copying the format of the Hachette edition as closely as possible, I guess that saves some time.

Is it just me, or is the font with Snicket's name looking a little different? It looks a little less cartoony than the American cover.

Yeah, the drop shadow is thinner and there's more space between the letters. Really hoping it comes out here in France, too!

If you look closer every font on the cover is slightly different. But yes, the "Lemony Snicket" one may look a tad better than the "fat" cartoony one of the original. Edit: Now that I think about it, it's less the font that irritates me, but that skewy alignment of the letters is what looks kinda childish. But oh, well, that has been discussed before.

I love dutch. Everything sounds funny in that language. I hope the book will be translated in Swedish too. Does anyone know how famous Lemony Snicket is in Sweden?

This is good news, though I'm surprised the first translation is Dutch. I'm also intrigued by this line: "In short: a series where no one will talk about the coming years!"

Does anyone know what language ASOUE was generally translated into first? In the Wikipedia article of TBB there is some information about some translations and the earliest of them was Brazilian Portuguese, but some languages are missing. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bad_Beginning#Translations
