-'Evening -Today wasn't that bad. -I had badminton, and I'm good at it. -I've finally found a sport that I don't suck at! -My teacher was telling me to do swimming. -But I can't swim -He then said do dance. -Which I am anyway. -I need four things. -Rounders will be another. -One more... -Uhh. -Suggestions? -I need to type up a prefect letter. -But I don't know what to say. -I only really want the cool tie/badge they get. -I'm wearing my lucky beads. -I'm not sure why. -I think the cricket is over. -It bores me so much. -I don't understand it. -Did England win? -Or will they? -I might care a little bit then. -My toes are bruised and they hurt. -And the one next to the little toe looks awful. -I have a headache too. -I'm just in constant pain. -Well, not really. -I've also got a rash on my neck because someone sprayed a mango thing near me. -*shakes fist*

-I hope you get better, Amber. -My History teacher was talking about the cricket today. -No one was interested. -He's a cool teacher, Mr Chapman. -We're currently doing Medicine Through Time and have covered the Stone Age and Aborigines (which I loved) so far, and are going to start medicine in Ancient Egypt next lesson. -YAY! -I love Ancient empires, especially Egypt. -Wow. -Yay. -Yes. -I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say this on here but I think necrophiliacs are the most disgusting people in the world. -Really, I just can't put into words how wrong it is. -Ugh. -My friends and I had a discussion about them today. -We all thought they were disgusting but Tasha remained opinionless. -It's because a band she likes are necrophiliacs. -Eww eww eww. -I really should change the topic now, it's making me... ugh. -I write nicely with a quill. -Yay, I'm proud. -Considering two of my quills are absolutely huge, I can write well with them. -I generally love anything to do with feathers. -One could say feathers are my "fetish", but whatever. -I collect all things feather-associated. -I have quills, a scarf, hair things, etc etc. -I need to listen to Radiohead's "No Surprises". -I just hope it's on the OK Computer CD because that's the only one I have. -Wait, yes, yes it is. -Yay!

-I often collect feathers. -This morning, I found one from a wild parrot. -There was a big flock of parrots on the wires near my house, in fact. -And I have lots of crow feathers. -I imagine guests on the forum as cloaked figures, but somehow different from invisible users. -I think I had the mental image, at some point, of the forum as a huge room, and the guests were watching from the rafters above the rest of us. -Tomorrow, we're doing some sort of experiment in Photography class. -I thought we'd be doing it today, but there was just a lecture on the history of photography. -Mr B told us about Civil War surgical techniques. -This was because during the Civil War era, someone discovered that a chemical used to dress wounds could be used for photography, to make light-sensitive chemicals stick to a glass plate. -Anyway, Mr B "demonstrated" how a doctor would amputate someone's leg, using his teacher's aid. -She still has both legs, though, and she said the "demonstration" freaked her out. -They'd amputate your leg using a sort of hook-shaped knife, which they'd use to cut the flesh, and then saw through the bone. -The teacher held her leg up and showed us where they'd cut it off. -It was indeed freaky. -And in Computers class, where I am, I finished and presented my nanotechnology slideshow. -I found a cool picture for it. -Gray goo is what you get if nano-robots eat all life on earth while endlessly replicating themselves. -People liked my presentation, and I probably got a good enough grade on it.

-Wasn't it Prince Charles who first warned of the dangers of grey goo? -I think it was. -If not, he was certainly well-known for it. -In my head, anyway. -I never got to do ancient empires. -We covered them briefly in primary school, but never anything more... -I've missed out on so much in life. -I seem to spend all my time these days trying to catch up. -And I never will. -My left palm aches. -Anyway, I've been reading The Last Continent for most of this afternoon. -I've been quite enjoying this seemingly-random subplot with the staff of UU, and am interested to see where it will go. -Aside from where it already has gone, obviously. -I'm more than half-way through, and I should be able to finish it today. -I don't see too many rafters. -Or, for that matter, any. -But I wish I did. -I don't often see neat feathers, either. -And Mother always sniffs and says that they're dirty. -I reckon that my cover of The Last Continent is an amalgamation of at least two scenes in the book. -Possibly (probably) three. -But it's hard to tell, yet. -Ow, my hand does really hurt. -People kept on talking about the cricket today. -People would occasionally ask the scores, or wander off to find out. -I have no idea how the cricket scoring system works, although I'm sure it was explained to me once.

-I believe you mean Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, PJ -Seeing as how Charlie and the Chocolate Factory hasn't come out yet.... -It was a good try though ;D -No, Snicketface, I said what I meant -Just because it isn't out wherever you live, or it is named differently, doesn't mean it is so here -I'm at school -So my post ends here -gah -Hmm... my mistake PJ, my apologies -I'm jealous that its out in Australia -School today was... hard -I had tons of stuff to do, and no time to do it -I have some homework but not too much -I passed my physical science with an 85% -Isn't as good as I wanted it to be.... I'd rather have an 89% or above -*pout* -I'm extremely tired -I got my camera back today for that photo competition at my school -should be fun -It's wicked hot....

-PJ and SF are both right in a way. -PJ is right that it's out where he lives but apparently not where SF is. -SF is right that the older 70's version is called Willy Wonka... and not Charlie. -Heh. -I'm listening to Placebo's "Twenty Years". -It's pretty. -There are twenty years to go, a golden age I know. But all the past will end too fast.

-My headache has mostly gone but I still feel really ill. -I've decided what to send Kimia. -I can write the letter now. -Yay! -I'm listening to The Man Who Sold The World. -Which I think was originally by The Vaselines. -Or something. -Earlier today I was telling Laura that I beat her in the SATs... -...Then I fell off of the curb. -*endpost*

-I'm on a slow library computer, this being my free period. -Most of the computers in here are off-limits for now, as they have to be repaired or something. -But I tried using one earlier and it seemed fine. -Then the librarian said I couldn't use it. -I have some homework I should start on, for Literature. -Good thing I have my Flash drive to save things on. -Darn, it doesn't seem to be working. -There's nasty old Clipit shaking his...metal arm thing...at me. -I'll have to try another computer. -I can always take care of this project tomorrow morning, when I can hopefully get to the "off-limits" computers, or at home. -All of the others that we're allowed to use are taken. -Fortunately, this Literature thing isn't due for some time. -We started writing it in class today, but I wanted to type up what I had of it so far.

-I've just realized I forgot to say that I got to the 3rd part of Anna Karenina last night -I'm about eight chapters into it now -I was just downstairs reading some -A bit earlier I went outside to play some basketball and ended up messing around with my friends skateboard -I've quite a fear of skateboards.... when I was little I went on one and flipped and bashed my head on the cement, and have a scar from it -Anyways, I've semi-overcome my fear... -I can't really turn yet, but I can push off, and more importantly balance myself, and I can flip the board off the ground into my hands -I only fell once so far.... it was quite funny ;D -It didn't hurt that much -My dad just walked into the loft (where I am) looked at me nodded his head as if saying "no" and walked out... <--that last smiley is supposed to have question marks over its head... but it doesn't show up *rolls eyes*

-I had to go to the orthodontist earlier today to get my braces fixed. -And now my teeth really hurt. -I can't wait until I get my braces off for good. -Which is supposed to be later this year. -Unless things get delayed. -Which is quite possible. -I went letterboxing on Saturday and Sunday. -I found my first two letterboxes. -It was fun. -Ouch... -I hate my braces.
