-We have some coral on a shelf in the living room. -There's a purple piece and a white piece, both in a basket that's made to look like a duck. -And I have some coral jewelry, somewhere. -The border isn't loading. -Ah, there it is. -Mother and I went for a walk up to the camera shop, and left the camera there. -While up at the shopping center, we bought some chocolate. -I think I saw a hawk fly overhead while we were waiting for the camera shop to open. -I don't know when the camera will be fixed. -But in the meantime, I still have my one-use camera. -I think there's eight or nine exposures left on it. -There's probably another like it put away.

-My coral is just big and white. -I can hear Tintin again in the lounge. -And I've been reading Jingo. -It's pretty neat, but as I've said before, I am getting rather bored of the Night Watch. -Or the Watch. -Whatever they're called. -I've suddenly forgotten. -I might just go and spend the evening reading more of Jingo. -I'll probably take it, and The Last Continent, with me tomorrow. -Apparently, the coach ride is about an hour, so I should be able to do plenty of reading in that time. -Lousy waste of time team-building rubbish. -I don't actually have much to say. -I think the Tintin story that my brother is watching is the one where Tintin implausibly goes to the Moon. -I feel pretty annoyed. -I'll call it a day, then. -Goodnight.

-I'm listening to Funeral For A Friend's "Escape Artists Never Die". -It's so good. - Here are the lyrics. -I wasn't online all of yesterday because I was out in town with Aimee, Steph and Jack. -Aimee was mainly with her boyfriend, Simon, Jack was with his many, many friends and Steph and I did some stationary shopping and walked around and stuff. -Steph and some guy called Jordan got off together. -Aww. -I'm glad that I never have. -Because I'd rather wait for the right person than just mess around. -Anyway, Steph and I got the train home at seven, as planned. -Some drunks were singing happily because Manchester United had won a football match. -We laughed, and gave help to a man that didn't know his way. -Aimee and Jack got the train twenty minutes later. -Aimee and Steph sleptover at my house. -Some time after midnight we felt the urge to run around my road and it was raining, and we all straighten our hair, so we must've gone wild. -I was a bit grunk and I kept saying the "daddies" (daddy long legs... there's a lot of them around at the moment because the sparrows who ate them have been dying out for some reason, so all houses around here are infested) will get us and then laughing like a maniac, and I had to hold the ends of my pyjama bottoms up lest I wanted them to get wet. -This morning Aimee woke up at 9:11, which was really weird. -9/11... aww. -I have school tomorrow. -I have very good lessons, so I'm happy. -I've sorted out all my new folders and homework and stuff. -I think I'm going on three trips this year. -For French, I'm going to Strasbourg for a week later next month. -For History, I think we're going to Styal Mill and Quarry Bank Mill (I've been to those places lots of times, they are love). -For Geography we're going to "Avery Hill" in Yorkshire for a few days. -It's all compulsory, apart from the French one, which was optional. -I seriously do not want to go on some hill in a dump somewhere and do lots of writing. -At least I'll have Nikki and Steph... I hope. -My hair needs straightening. - I'm pink.-Although some might say that's purple. -Whatever it is, it's a nice colour. -*nod*

-I think I remember that Tintin episode. -My old French teacher had Tintin posters on the walls of her classroom. -How I hated that woman. -She was an awful teacher, and she was so patronizing. -"Now children let's colour the square red, with our red pencil" type thing. -*shudder* -I've finally finished my work. -And got off the phone explaining it to Laura. -I think my computer needs MSN. -I'll try and get it to work. -Or something. -Or I'll just wait until I get a new computer. -My Fathers job gives him the old computer parts and he makes them back up. -I have no idea how it works, but it does. -Though I'm saving for a laptop. -My mobile phone is dying slowly and painfully. -When it rings it sounds horrible. -Like it's wailing in pain. -It's odd, I don't want anything for months then everything at once. -Eh. -I can't think of anything else. -End post.
Edit: -I love that picture Kimia. -It's awesome. -I'd call it pink. -I think. -Rhyme, again.

-I love the Tintin books. -I have all of them... -They amuse me. -Professor Calculus is cool. -I think that he ends up getting an ear trumpet in one of the moon books, so he isn't as deaf as usual. -And it ends up causing problems. -Thomson and Thompson are cool too. -Anyway, I've only seen the show once or twice while we were in India; we don't get it here. -But I'm sure the books are better. -Books in general are always better than TV, movies, etc. -That's about all I have to say; I just wanted to comment on Tintin.

- I'm pink.-Although some might say that's purple. -Whatever it is, it's a nice colour. -*nod* -I'd call that pinkish-purple. -Or fuschia, or magenta perhaps. -Whatever color it is, it's a neat picture. -I should hopefully have new photos of myself in a few days, depending on when the most recent roll of film gets developed. -And whether or not I scan/post these pictures depends on how good they actually are. -My father's always confused about what to call colors. -He refers to things that I think are purple as "blue", much of the time. -I wonder if we actually see colors differently, and if so, which one of us has the defective color vision. -Maybe everyone sees colors differently, so neither of us really has "defective" eyes. -I read somewhere that as people grow older, they see fewer shades of blue and purple, and I wonder if that's the case with Father. -Dante, they're called the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, I think. -I haven't read many of the books that involve them. -I've got to get to Borders sometime very soon, but we only go there when we get coupons. -We're having salmon for dinner, and I'm going to help cook it. -But that's not for...hours. -It's earlier than I thought it was.

-I just hit my little toe and the one next to it on the corner of my bed. -It made a nasty cracking sound. -And it hurts a lot. -My Mother says it's probably broken, but there is nothing she can do. -Because you can't exactly put a cast on your toes. -It hurts to walk. -I think I'll wallow in self pity for a while. -*sob* -This is what I get for cleaning my room. -Maybe it's a sign. -...Or not.

My parents are so gimmick and norweigjsaer now they're into Sudoku because it's on my mom's new laptop. Now she has three laptops. And I have none. I finished my homework early so I decided to go to my grandparents with my mom so she wouldn't have to suffer. We made a grocery list there. Tonight for dinner we're having ham, biscuits, potatoes, and green beans. Yay. When we got home from the grocery store I found my dad looking at a chess book and the chess on the game table was set up. He was strategizing. At the grocery store I saw milk in nifty little bottles so I asked my mom why they were in those bottles and she said that it wasn't milk, it was kefir, so I asked her what kefir was so she said it was halfway between yogurt and milk. So when I got home I looked up kefir and yogurt. Dannon is originally from Spain where it's called Danone, and I already knew about the whole Colombo yogurt story. While I was reading about yogurt a blimp flew over the house and my dog went crazy. My fish broke her back, which is how my last fish died. My mom thinks the fish need more calcium and vitamin c, so we got calcium and vitamin c fortified stuff to feed the fish. I hope she doesn't die soon. I've been out in the sun a lot because of cross country and I've been getting freckles. eek

-Those story ideas are interesting, particularly the angel one. -You could combine them, I guess, by having the "attack angel" drive the boy to commit suicide. -That would probably be just stringing the two stories together, though. -Nah, the angel one would be a humourous one, the suicide one would be dark -Eh, I couldn't think of a good antonym of "guardian" -I figure, one guards someone, the other attacks them -But attack angel just sounds....lame -Any ideas? -Strike Angel? -That certainly sounds better.... -So yeah, with the suicide, I also thought about it having a faust bit, as in the boy makes some kind of demonic deal, but commits suicide instead of paying some dreadful price -Or something -School soon -I'm watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory -Again -With my mum -Willy Wonka is the coolest EVAR -The narrator voice is lame, though -Well, that's my post, I guess -I'll post the first part of The Yeti tonight

-I'm here now, PJ. -I wasn't one of those nine guests, though, as I was asleep. -Once again, it took me some time to get up. -The salmon I made for dinner last night came out really well. -I like putting basil on my fish. -The label on our jar of basil assures us that it's "non-irradiated". -I don't know what irradiated basil would be like, but I'm not sure I want to try any. -I spent a lot of yesterday afternoon on a Sudoku puzzle in the newspaper. -And I think I solved it. -I didn't get far in the crossword, though. -I liked the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie better than the old one. -I imagine invisible users as cloaked figures--you can see someone there, but you can't tell who they are because they're wearing a long dark cloak.

-I didn't really have an image in my head for invisible users. -I'll always think of them as cloaked figures now, though. -It works so well. -Guests I imagine as looking rather dazed, and ambling about aimlessly. -They'd probably be more accurate as a spirit, or floating eye, though. -Anyway, my team-building trip was alright. -There was much less dirt and water and effort than I expected. -They messed up the whole form team-building, though. -There were too many in each form, so we were split up into five groups randomly, depending on where we stood in a line. -And at one point I realised that I hadn't made my outlook on life clear for a while. -I see life as being generally something that other people do. -I just like to watch it, like a play or TV show. -And it was most humorous to watch them all rafting in that lake. -Everything collapsed and fell apart. -Everyone got soaked. -Except me. -I win. -Again. -I finished off Jingo today. -I'd been getting rather bored of the City Watch (thanks, Antenora), but this book was alright. -Mainly because it didn't involve much City Watch-ing. -I've started on The Last Continent, and while I haven't read much of it yet, I quite like it.
