-Well one week of holidays gone, only one more week to go. -Hardly anyone is ever on the net during holidays. -Damn people and their lives. -I haven't spoken to Peej or Derik for a long time. -*misses* -I should probably go eat breakfast, except that I'm not particularly hungry. -And I'll probably end up doing a workout again this morning. -It's the best way to get rid of the 'fat, lazy, holiday' feeling. -So, yesterday my Grandmother and Aunty got back from Italy. -We had to go visit them of course. -Looked at photos, recieved presents, watched videos. -The usual stuff. -Oh and they brought some canelli back with them. -It's basically just a bit of cinnamon coated in sugar and sometimes coloured. -They're yummy. -I didn't quite finish my batman routine. -There's still an other 50 seconds. -But I've successfully avoided dance now for over two minutes of choreography. -Yzay for gross flex stuff. -Workout/breakfast time now -Bye.

-Antenora and Snicket-Face, I hope you both feel better today. -I don't know if I'll be attending the Nameless Novel ball. -If I do, though, I'll go quite plainly as myself. -I might go dig up my old mask from the masquerade, though. -I just spent a few minutes helping Mother with some quiz. -In many ways, it was like a Vernacularly Fastened Door, only completely to do with children's books. -Mother wants the prize, which is a large amount of book tokens. -There were questions about Artemis Fowl and A Series of Unfortunate Events and The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe and many others which I've now forgotten. -I managed to answer 11 of the 20 questions simply from the top of my head. -And at least one other I shouldn't have had to look up, but I ended up referring to my copy of the book in question. -The ones I didn't know were about books I didn't read, or things I didn't care about. -Anyway, that's done now. -And hopefully, we'll win. -Even though it doesn't actually matter too much to me. -If this is reply #6,666, then that means I can't get reply #6,667. -There's always #6,670, though. -And at least my post takes the number of evil. -Oh wait, no it doesn't. -That's 616 now. -I'm pretty hungry. -I started breakfast a minute ago, because Mother let me eat at the computer while I was researching the answers to her quiz. -But then she took it away again when I finished. -Bah. -I feel like I might be catching a cold, but I now feel like that just about every morning. -It's overcast again outside, but not dark - just grey.

-I'm feeling well. -My eye doesn't hurt anymore, although it's watering a bit. -I bought some Discworld books at Borders last night. -Since they had a lot, I picked out a few more or less at random. -I bought Sourcery, Lords and Ladies, and Going Postal. -I've been meaning to read the first of those for a while, and the others just looked particularly interesting. -I remember hearing somewhere that the devil had changed his evil number from 666 to 629. -That was in a tabloid, I think. -So this site should really be called 630 Dark Avenue, or possibly 617 Dark Avenue. -Good luck winning that contest, Dante. -I think I entered a contest like that once, or at least tried to get some book tokens in some way, and failed.

-I'm still feeling snuffly, although I don't pay much attention to it now. -I feel better this morning than I did yesterday morning, for example. -It's still grey and dull outside. -It looks cold, too. -I'm meant to be cutting up my pizza for lunch. -You'd have thought my parents would know better than to ask me to do something while I'm typing. -It seems that, unlike most people, they do not learn from experience. -Now my family are all eating lunch, and distracting me from thinking of things I want to talk about. -Going Postal came out in paperback today - oh wait, it was yesterday, my mistake. -Anyway, it came out in paperback yesterday, so I can get it. -My parents refuse to buy most hardbacks, as they're too expensive. -My parents are slightly miserly, but I guess it runs in the family. -I was thinking about masquerades and Phantom of the Opera earlier. -There was one of the former in the latter. -And there was an allusion to Poe in that. -I should probably have put that down as an aSoUE coincidence, but I tend to forget those very quickly these days. -And now I'd best go to lunch, before my parents get angry. -It's very tiresome, how they insist on the family eating together.

-I guess I went to Borders just in time to get the paperback Going Postal. -I'd seen it in hardcover, and it was pretty expensive. -I only buy hardcover books if I have a lot of money to spare, and my parents usually wait until books come out in paperback. -I wonder if Thud! which I've heard is good, is out in paperback yet. -There are still quite a few Discworld books I want, but can't find or can't afford. -I'll probably order some from Amazon, since we're doing an Amazon order sometime soon. -My family usually doesn't eat lunch together. -My sister likes to eat outside, so we usually let her do so. -I just eat lunch whenever it's convenient, most of the time. -I should have some breakfast. -Mother said I could eat some of the cake from yesterday.

-Amazon.co.uk doesn't list a paperback Thud! -...Which is slightly worrying. -But then again, they list a lot of stuff which doesn't exist, too. -And they make a lot of mistakes. -So they're not really reliable. -I was exaggerating a little when I said that they never buy hardbacks, and called it miserly. -But it is extremely frustrating when I have to wait months and months - literally - for the paperback version of something, because they won't get the hardback. -What makes it worse is that I've sometimes had to wait months and months for these books to even come out in Britain, let alone in paperback. -Patience is not one of my virtues. -Or rather, patience when I shouldn't really have to wait. -Mother's napping right now, and Father's reading a book. -I read a little more of Crime and Punishment over lunch, and yesterday evening. -Oh, and I had pizza for lunch. -And I'll apparently be having pizza for lunch on Wednesday, too. -Hm, I could have sworn Mother said yesterday that we might be going out for lunch today. -I guess the "might" turned out to be important. -I wouldn't have wanted to go out to lunch. -It leaves me less time at home. -The sky seems to have cleared up a bit. -It's too bright for me to look at for long, but a lot of things are. -And it's not actually very sunny - the sky just seems to be bright.

-I'll probably get Thud! when it comes out in paperback. -In the meantime, there are a lot of other books I need to look for. -My parents often tell me to wait for a book to come out in paperback, if the hardcover is really expensive or I don't know for sure if I want the book. -I just got something done for my Photography family tree project. -I printed off the old photos I scanned of my mother and father. -The project's due in about two weeks, and I'll probably start putting it together today. -I need some poster-board, which we probably have. -If we don't have any, I can get some when we go shopping later. -And I need to type up a paragraph of "anecdotal details" about my family at some point. -Yay, Kobolos is back! -I've missed him.

-I looked it up, and apparently Thud! only came out last month. -Which explains why there's no paperback yet. -It always takes months for popular books to come out in paperback, as the publishers want to snatch as much money as possible. -There are a lot of books which I think look interesting, but don't care too much for. -So if they're in hardback, and the paperback won't be out for ages, then I just forget about them. -Oh, it seems we're going out now. -Mother says that it's very nice, and we should make the best of it. -Or at least, that's the gist of what she's saying. -We're going walking up near the Duchess's mansion. -I wonder which route in particular we're taking? -There are several. -And I can't remember the one we usually take. -I'm hoping it's not the one which involves a large and steep hill. -Actually, I think it might not be that one. -But I'm not sure. -I guess I'll be back in a few hours.

-Yay, thanks Kobo! -I just remembered several (more) things I want to order from Amazon whenever we next make an Amazon order. -There are a couple of illustrated Discworld books that I've been wanting for a while, but they're out of print. -The books I want are probably pretty expensive, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting some birthday money, which should be enough for one fairly expensive book. -I might also get an Amazon gift certificate, too. -I'm playing Grow Cube.-The Grow games are really addictive. -I don't think I've ever actually figured any of them out. -It's cloudy outside, which means the weather will hopefully stay cool. -Recently, it's been really hot.

The Family Guy movie is awesome. It would rank up with the best episodes of the earliest season.
I'm drawing now.
I've stuff to do
Edit: The Family Guy movie sucked. It lacked Brian.

-I've been out for a while. -I had pretty bad heartburn while out walking. -I feel much better now, though. -And then I played Grow until I completed it. -Then I wrote a little, and now I'm posting here. -It's pretty dark outside, here. -The sky is completely overcast, and all the clouds look black. -And I could smell smoke earlier. -I think we're having dinner soon. -We were going to have spaghetti, but I overheard my parents saying that it was off. -The clouds in the sky are moving pretty quickly, but not much appears to be blowing in the garden. -I guess the wind just isn't reaching here. -The weather has made me feel rather dull. -It's just not happy weather. -Did I just hear thunder? -I might have. -But it might just have been something falling over, or a distant crash of some sort. -There it is again. -I'm tending towards the latter theory, now. -I don't really have much to say at the moment. -I think I added some more stuff to an Amazon order, but it's possible that that's a false memory or my imagination. -In fact, I'm pretty sure it was. -I'll probably read some more of Crime and Punishment now. -Or write something.
