-I've been shopping.
-We bought Father a wallet for his birthday.
-I found a card for him as well.
-It says "Happy Birthday from the Bushes" with a picture of the White House.
-Inside is a picture of some shrubs on the White House lawn saying "Happy Birthday".
-And I got the posterboard I need for my project.
-I'll have time this afternoon to work on it.
-Since we're going to be busy next weekend, I want to get as much as I can done today.
-The weather's been cool and partly-cloudy.
-It'd be neat if we had a thunderstorm.
-But hopefully, we won't have one that keeps us awake all night.

-today has been an off day for me
-earlier I was going to make a turkey and cheese sandwich and thought I had grabbed turkey and cheese
-I went on spreading mayo on the bread, and not until I was finished doing this did I notice it wasn't turkey but another kind of cheese
-As a result I ate a cheese sandwich with mayo, which wasn't very filling
-I also had a piece of chocolate cake which my brother brought home from work

-So I was working today.
-I had to pay out lots of winning tickets.

-He's spent a lot of this holidays with my cousins.
-My sister has a friend over and their watching a dvd in her room next door.

-They're going out tommorrow and I'll meet up with some of my own friends.
-I'l probably end up seeing a movie.

-Today on the way home from the video store we were talking about playdough and the ingredients.

-Scotty, I think this is the largest thread ever.
-I asked once, and nobody thought of any longer ones.
-And some threads which I'd thought had been longer apparently weren't.
-Anyway, I've been busy this afternoon.
-I had to write a short essay for Economics.
-Mine might have been too short, but really, there was only so much you could say.
-And I'm a concise writer.
-And the lines on my page are thin.
-It would have filled up more than a side on paper with wider lines, which I think most other people have.
-My General Studies lesson this morning was cancelled.
-It would have been nice to know that before I'd left home for General Studies.
-I could really have used that extra hour at home.
-But it would have taken too long to walk back for too little time, so I stayed at school.
-I found myself a nice space under a flight of stairs, at the farthest edge of the school, and read Crime and Punishment.
-Also, I lurked around the corridors, and had a conversation with a teacher I like as though he was a student.
-And a teacher found me in my dim hideaway, and while I'm pretty sure he was checking for misbehaving kids, I think he probably went away with the impression that I'm pretty weird.
-I think quite a few people did.
-The more people who think I'm mad, the better.
-Life's just not very exciting.
-Oh, and I've been working on a lot of other stuff.
-And eating dinner, and etc.
-The other stuff is also the reason I couldn't post this morning, although I had plenty of time to do so.
-I had to hang out some washing, too.
-I think I'm going to have to do that every Monday for the next year or two.
-Bah, I've got Maths with Mr. B. tomorrow, so I can look forward to a pile of homework.
-Probably.
-In English, I'm handing in some homework, though.
-And that's to the teacher who seems to be giving us homework semi-regularly, rather than to the one who barely ever does, and barely ever did in Year 9, either.
-So I shouldn't get any homework from English, but I probably will.
-Is there something else I've forgotten to mention?
-If there is, I can't remember it.
-I can think of an anecdote which is probably amusing, though.
-A lot of my associates are doing some short Sports Studies / Outdoor Ed. / First Aid courses first-thing on Monday mornings.
-These are meant to be in full hour-long sessions.
-But the fire alarm went off during that session this morning, so they never finished.
-And because of the requirements of the course, they have to do exactly the same things they did this morning again next Monday, for it to count.
-I'd feel sorry for them if I was capable of pitying anyone who I'm not very close to.

-I'm also a concise writer.
-This is probably the reason I lose a lot of credit on things where you're supposed to write "in-depth analysis".
-My Crime and Punishment writing things were probably way too short.
-I got a decent grade on them, though.
-My teachers think I'm somewhat weird.
-I don't mind people thinking I'm completely insane, as long as they don't cart me off to an asylum or something.
-That probably won't happen.
-We had a test in Photography.
-It was entirely true-or-false, but each question was fairly complicated.
-If one word in a long statement was incorrect, it was false.
-Some of the statements seemed more like matters of opinion, too, so it was hard.
-The power was out at my house for some time yesterday.
-Apparently, the power company didn't know why this was, but they were able to fix it within a couple of hours.

-After school, I went with my brother and his girlfriend to look at rings for his girlfriends birthday
