Of course I will be there, and I've heard from employees of the bookshop that while they are uncertain about any chances to get things signed, there will definitely be a questions session. If given the chance, what in the world should I ask?
Jon Klassen's there, so he'll probably want to talk about The Dark. You might be able to slip in a question about ?2, but the important thing to consider is to ask only questions which you think he might actually answer. Perhaps something about whether we'll meet any other members of his family in ATWQ. Or what the role of chemistry is in the second book.
LS and Jon Klassen did a collaborative speech in which they acted out The Dark (which is an amazing book), and they did separate talks as well. There was a lot of talk about how Snicket got into writing books for children, he told the classic story about how his pen name was created, and there was a fair amount of accordion-playing. The entire time was all-around incredible.
I managed to get my question in about whether or not he would introduce more Snickets later in ?2, but unfortunately he dismissed most of the inquiries as the wrong questions to be asking (speaking of which, The Dark has a funny blurb in the back about how Lemony Snicket has often been accused of leaving his readers in the dark). Other than that, when I got my books signed he recognized me from the Q&A and said that I should be interested to know that there are far more members of the Snicket family than most people can put up with. This could mean anything, but was pretty awesome to hear nonetheless.
Thanks for the report, bandit! It sure sounds like it was as amazing as you say it was, and the last personal remark is definitely very intriguing! It could mean nothing and be just a joke (which is also cool), but it could indeed mean something more.

Congratulations, bandit, on your autographed book and final answer. It's nice to see the library stamp up close, and the performance of The Dark sounds positively thrilling, particularly given who the performers were.

That's awesome, bandit! Oh man, I wish I could meet him some day.

"Some days, you feel like the world is against you. And everyone around you seems so mean and ugly. There are times I just burn with hate. In those times... I am ugly, too. I don't want to hate. I want to be kind, and waken the kindness in others." - Amy Jellicoe
Oh my god, that's so amazing ;D Also, it's really interesting to hear about "far more Snickets than you can put up with". I reckon that'll mean not just Kit and Jacques but possibly a couple others too. Yay
