When my brother was a child someone told him not to touch a butterfly's wings because then they can't fly anymore, and then he touched a butterfly's wings because he thought he could fly then.
Speaking about butterflies, there was a sign with two cars crashing together, and I only realised that 3 years ago. Before that, I wondered what strange kind of butterfly with crooked wings that was. Unfortunately I can't find a picture of a sign like that on the internet.
What did you think as a child? About butterflies or anything else?

I used to think butterflies were a type of fly that had a fondness for butter above all else, so I was always confused when I saw one and it didn't like anything like a regular housefly.

Backstory: I used to love standing by the mailbox when the mail truck whent by so that instead of putting the mail in the mailbox, the mailman would hand it directly to me! Coolest thing ever! I wanted to do it for a living!
