Guessed it correctly. I won't say any more than that. Cute concept, though.
I like how it says that ?2 is out and that you can get it on that page, and neither of those things are true.

Thought the shark one was a lie.

I didn't understand the first thing, so I guessed it must be a lie.

Sting is a well-known musician, formerly with the band The Police. That one didn't actually seem too improbable to me: it is certainly possible to bump into famous people accidentally.
I guessed the Anchovy one because I thought we would have heard about it if he had lived there.

I know who Sting is, I just didn't pay enough attention for how fast he was talking at the beginning of that, so I didn't even know he mentioned him.

I guessed the Anchovy one because I thought we would have heard about it if he had lived there. Handler didn't specify how long he spent there, so I figured he could just have been passing through.

In the solution, though, he does say 'lived', which suggests there is something about his life that we are missing.

I guessed the Anchovy one because I thought we would have heard about it if he had lived there. I also assumed that this one was a a lie. Daniel Handler in Jamaica is just such a funny/surreal image considering his love for all things gothic and dark.

The answer video isn't working for me, but based on the comments I seem to have guessed right. The lie is usually the most plausible scenario.

Are you sure you actually found the answer video? It took me a while. You have to scroll down to the bottom - if you just click on the place where it says 'click here for the answer' you keep going round and round in circles.

Scroll to the bottom where? The link under the YouTube description won't open; neither will the "click here for the answer." I may try another browser.
Edit: I see, it's at the bottom of the Google Play page.

Scroll to the bottom of the Google Play page. If you weren't able even to reach the Google Play page, then that's a problem, certainly.
Edit: Snap!
