I know this is kind of irrelevant but I'm still kind of sour with the fact that I was under the impression he would loosely drop copies of the bad beginning across the country from the sky
In retrospect that would have made no sense but I had such plans for it

I think he did, though. It's just that HarperCollins' definition of "across the country" is probably more along the lines of "in a couple different towns."

I think it's less the geography that has us sour and more the part where we literally thought they were going to be airdropped in tiny parachutes. I agree that the concept is absurd and yet they kept on using the same metaphor.
