DH has given an interview on ep 351 of the literary Otherppl podcast. I'm in the process of listening right now, and so far I've heard quite a bit of new stuff he hasn't said a million times before, particularly about his writing process.

I listened to this literally last night whilst working, 10/10 would recommend.

The quick mention of the Netflix ASOUE near the end was very interesting; they're still looking for a director, but Handler said something I don't think he's said before (at least, it was news to me).
[58:30] "[Netflix are] gonna do all 13 volumes."

I have finished listening to this, and I must say that it was one of the best DH interviews I've heard. The interviewer was genuinely good.

Started this a couple days ago until a certain point but just finished it. I wholeheartedly agree that it's one of the most revealing DH interviews I've come across. The only thing I managed to note down for whatever reason is that Handler grew up in West Portal in San Fransisco and now lives in Haight-Ashbury. But the early parts about his writing process are the most interesting.
