I presume there used to be a banner utilising images from ?1 before I arrived. In fact, the banner was a leaked (and ultimately unused) sketch from before ?1 even came out. But it looked a lot better... on the old Proboards format.

A Facebook group would be a nice way to bring people here too, I think.

Like Zortegus said, if we had something like a 'Social Sunday' or something that would be a good way to attract new members.

Doesn't Dante usually receive copies of the books before they're released? Perhaps he could arrange for you to use some previously unseen interior illustration from ?4, provided the banner doesn't come up before the release day. Great! That would give the banner an edge and make me feel special. Dante, hit me up. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but they only sent out advance copies of ?1 and ?2. I did manage to get File Under and ?3 very slightly early, but only by a couple of days, and only by being clever with retailers.

Holey SOCKS I just joined and I feel dwarfed by many here. 10+ years on the forum!? Dear Lord. You guys have some commitment.
Perhaps Some Social Media outlets would bring people in.
Inquiring new members want to know: How does one gain stars/ credibility on a forum? Is it up to the mods?

Stars don't necessarily denote credibility; they just increase as your post count increases. For example, I'm a widely reviled member, but I've still got 10 stars because I won't shut up.
